Premier Inn Manchester Salford Media City

We booked this hotel due to its proximity to The Lowry as we were seeing a show. I cant fault the hotel as it is like all the premier inns, clean and comfortable. However there were 3 of us and I booked 2 rooms and requested they were on the same floor. Unfortunately this did not happen. One room was on the 9th floor and one on the 7th. The receptionist took such a long time to check us in that I didn't realise until I got home that I Had been charged twice. I have since been refunded but it could have resulted in me being overdrawn. Also my daughter and me shared a twin bedroom and we had to share a towel as well as there was only one towel between us.! This has happened before at another Premier Inn. We didn't eat at the hotel but we went to the bar after the show and this was fine. Service was good

great location at media city, rooms are clean / comfortable, lovely welcome on arrival & staff always ready to help with a smile, I've stayed there a few times and prefer it over its nearest competitor, even though it means I've a slightly longer walk to work ( about 200m)

Lovely queen sized bed all to myself, the pillows were comfortable. 10 mins walk from Old Trafford, no noise outside, had a great night's sleep every night. Staff were friendly and very welcoming. Room was very spacious,everything you need. Good sized mugs which I love to see.

The hotel was nice, and was clean. Throughout the stay the staff were nice. Breakfast had everything you needed. The hotel was a short walk away from Old Trafford as well which made it a decent location. Zero complaints, would stay here again.

We went to the theatre to see Bing with my 2 year old daughter. Location of hotel is close to the Lowry which was great. Parking was close to the hotel which is good. We were unable to check in at the express check in due to an issue with the card payment machine and Mike came to assist and was very helpful. We had booked a family room for myself, my 2 year old daughter and my mum. Room was a little tired and could do with refreshing. Restaurant opened and 6:00pm with no lunch menu to eat before 6:00pm given my daughter eats dinner at 4:00/5:00pm. We arrived at the restaurant which was nice and quiet. We requested that the starter and main arrive at the same time due to eating late. Mike and Lois provided an excellent service throughout our dining experience, very accommodating and made us all feel welcome. I found this part of the stay to be welcoming and would visit again due to the friendliness of both staff.

Stayed Sunday 9/2/25 Great location nice and quite compared to the City...Multistory carpark next door...Nice cosy bar/dining area Decent accomodation...Helpful staff Short walk to the Media City Metro line. A few local bars,restaurants and coffee houses nearby.
