Hotel du Parc

What a lovely Art Nouveau style hotel..with the lovliest staff and owner. As a solo traveler it was so nice to be always greeted with warm friendly faces !..The hotel is ideally positioned close to both the lakefront and train station and really good value for such a calibre of stay ..My room in the annex had hand painted ceiling and walls in the Art Deco/Nouveau style! I highly recommend this lovely place to enjoy the spectacular Lago Maggiore!

We stayed for 5 nights at this wonderful hotel. It feels like a family run business because everyone is so kind. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. Our room (Nr. 3) was beautiful, clean and big. The location is very quiet. The terrace is huge with the perfect lake view. The breakfast room is beautiful and the breakfast good. Within a couple of minutes you reach the center of Stresa with great restaurants. We recommend „La Botte“ and „Papagallo“. If we return to Stresa we would book this hotel again.

A lovely, quaint hotel with very friendly front of desk staff. Very conveniently located, and the train line isn't loud enough in the night to wake you. The continental buffet breakfast is good, and rooms are clean - only criticism is the mattresses are uncomfortable!

We are in the 60-70 age bracket. We are in Stresa in one of the most beautiful hotels we have stayed in. For me I enjoy connecting with people and I found all the staff at Hotel du Parc to be most friendly. It is a high point to end my love affair with Italy. My wife booked the room with a lake and mountain views - spectacular! The gardens are lovely with massive trees and hidrangea scattered on the grounds. And I managed to thank the gardener for doing a fine job! The hotel is a short walk into town/lake but that also saves going into ZTL area and fined. Breakfast - wide range of cold meat, cheeses, together with cereals and yoghurt, pastries etc. The dining room is on the first floor with views over the lake. Room and bed are very comfortable and the bathroom is standard. The hotel has been in the same family for three generations. And I hope will continue to be dedicated to the memory of grandparents who established the hotel. Oh by the way we were here when Maserati had a conference so I also was able to get to see my fav car.

Great hotel, in the heart of the town, run by lovely family who care for their guests. Reserve room facing lake which have a stunning view over the town towards the lake, which is a short stroll away. Owners always ready to help and advise best places to go and how to get there. Would definitely stay here again.

A beautiful stay in a grand old house with a great view. Although slightly up the hill we enjoyed the walk home each night to work off all of the carbs from the delicious food offered in town. Our room was clean and spacious enough with a little balcony that offered a great view of the town and lake. We did have an issue with the power adapter but the front desk allowed us to borrow one and the problem was solved. The breakfasts were delicious but the best part of the stay was the staff, particularly Simona who was a constant cheery face with excellent recommendations. She put us on to market day in one of the villages as well as good restaurants particularly Il Vicoletto, which was magnificent. She also helped with our requirements when we chose to eat in on our balcony one night and if only I could remember the name of the red wine that she put us on to, I would happily buy a few more bottles for the rest of our stay.
