Great for frugal theater fans who cook
We really enjoyed our suite, which was the entire second floor of a historic building on a downtown street. The suite itself was nicely updated, though the 140+ year old floor slanted slightly in places. Our suite had one queen bed and one queen-size sofa bed.
The stairs were narrow and steep so anyone with mobility issues or very small children should make sure to indicate this on the reservation so that you are assigned a different suite by the owner.
For those who don't mind cooking some of their meals on vacation, and who want to save money on food so you can afford more Stratford Festival tickets, this is a good option. The kitchen was well-supplied with cooking/eating utensils for 4 people, and a pod coffeemaker. Coffee pods were supplied but all other groceries need to be brought with you. (There were several small grocery shops in walking distance, plus a weekend outdoor market.) Unfortunately our suite had no ice cube trays or serrated knife, and only two coffee mugs/wine glasses.
The free parking lot run by the city was conveniently located a short walk away.
This suite gave us walking access to all of the Stratford Festival's theaters and the downtown shops and restaurants.
The electronic lock on the front door, with a code specific to our stay that was emailed to us just before our stay, took a little getting used to but it was a good system.
