I’m writing to express my disappointment following a recent visit to your restaurant ,I’ve visited several times before and always thought highly of your establishment, which makes this experience all the more disheartening. From the outset, the experience was very disappointing. The scones served were stale, and the butter provided was clearly out of date with an unpleasant, off-putting smell. I ordered a pot of tea, and upon adding milk, discovered that it too was off, making the tea undrinkable. Equally concerning was the general cleanliness of the premises. There were dead flies scattered along the windowsills, and the overall appearance of the dining area was unclean and poorly maintained. Most troubling, however, was the hygiene of the chef who served us. He had long hair and a beard that appeared unkempt, with visible food caught in his facial hair. He was wearing a dirty chef jacket and open, backless shoes with no socks — all of which raised serious concerns about food safety and hygiene standards. To make matters worse, when it came time to pay, we were informed that there was no money in the till, and we had to provide the exact change — something that is entirely unprofessional for a restaurant to expect from customers. This experience fell far below acceptable standards, both in terms of food quality and hygiene. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and take immediate steps to address these issues.
