The perfect stopover Very impressed with the attention to detail. Offered a flask of milk at reception on arrival. Would definitely recommend for stopover for early Ferry crossing.

Great place When booking, we thought this was a little on the expensive side, for what is classed as a guest house, but as we were attending the oyster festival thought that may be why there was a premium. However, the overall quality of the place, including wonderful breakfast, fully warrants the price; it is excellent, better than some 4* hotels we have stayed in.

Superb b&b close to ferries This was our 2nd stay at Rhins of Galloway and we wouldn't stay anywhere else the evening before a ferry crossing. It is a wonderful accommodation both in terms of the standard of the rooms and the welcome by the owners. Highly recommended.

Outstanding!!! Outstanding!! From the best friendliest check in to an amazing room. Loved the little touches in the room and everything has been thought of including bottle opener and wine glasses!! A 10/10

We verbleven hier 2 nachten tijdens onze rondreis door het Zuidwesten. We hadden kamer 7 en die was prima. Compleet en schoon. Leuke details die aangeven dat er zorg besteed wordt aan de gastvrijheid zoals een badjas en slippers, Flesjes water op het nachtkastje. De kamer had een dubbelsized bed en een gezellig zitje. De waterdruk van de douche was prima. We werden ontvangen door de 2 eigenaren die beiden achter de receptie zaten. Gedurende de ontvangst bleven ze daar ook zitten. Een nog betere ontvangst was geweest als een van de heren mee was gelopen naar de kamer, maar wij vonden het niet storend. De heren waren vriendelijk en goedlachs. Het ontbijt was goed en er was voldoende keuze. Het Hotel of B&B ligt aan een vrij drukke doorgaande weg. Daar merk je in de kamer weinig vand,cwant die is redelijk geluiddicht gemaakt. Er kan echter geen raam open voor wat frisse lucht. Het hotel heeft een veranda waar het goed toeven is met mooi weer alleen dat voorbijrazend verkeer..... Al met al hadden wij voor die paar nachten een prettig verblijf.

Far exceeded expectations on every level. Perfect location for early morning ferry connection, warm welcome on arrival, helpful advice on eating out, very quiet restful sleep and thats before talking about the rooms. I say rooms as it feels like a suite, spacious lounge with everything catered for, really nice way to relax and start a trip. Bed was amazing, great sleep and very comfortable. All the ‘extras’ like bathrobe, slippers, good quality coffee, drinks, water, biscuits. I was in need of magnifying mirror, looked around and there it was. Every detail thought of. Plenty sockets and USB connections and near the bed and wifi connection worked well. If i had to say any possible considerations and just more of a nice to have as a female solo traveller: 1. a long mirror would have been good, possibly there was one and I just missed it. 2. Hotel like security bolt at door would be nice to have. 3. The slab pathway to car is a little narrow with large suitcase and hard to pull large case on gravel Fantastic place and my only choice now for ferry connections.
