"Vietin 4 yötä huoneissa 31 vierailla perhettä alueella. Se sijaitsee ihanteellisesti Stonehavenin sisällä, lyhyen kävelymatkan meren rannalla ja miellyttävä (mutta kireä) kävely sodan muistomerkkiin ja Dunottar Castle. Stonehaven itse on kaiken mitä tarvitset lyhyen oleskelun: ruokapaikkoja, ravintolat jne. Huoneissa oli muutamia pieniä kysymyksiä, joista olen jo ottanut yhteyttä omistajaan, mutta tämä ei vaikuttanut haitallisesti oleskeluun. Aamiainen on itsepalvelukauppa, jossa on pääsy viljan, leivän/ruoan, aamupalatuotteiden, lämpimien juomien ja mehun. Tämän asetuksen etu on, että voit ottaa aamiaista milloin tahansa ja se ei rajoitu rajoitettuihin ajoihin, kuten yleensä olisi B&B. Olisiko ollut hyödyllistä, jos huoneessa olisi ollut minijääkaappi ja pääsy mikroaaltouuniin, jotta voisi lämmittää ruokaa syömisen jälkeen ei ole mahdollista/toivottavaa. Olisin myös ollut mukavaa tuntea, että aamiainen oli käytettävä aamiaista ulkopuolella sen sijaan, että tunsin tarpeen syödä ote omassa huoneessani. Kokonaisuudessaan löysin majoitusta melko persoonaton, en nähnyt ketään muuta koko majoitusta, paitsi hyvin lyhyen tapaamisen aamulla aamiaisessa, jonka kanssa epäilin olevan omistaja. Jos en olisi käynyt perheen luona, olisin ollut melko yksinäinen. Näen, miten se toimisi hyvin liikematkailijoille tai joillekin, jotka haluavat itsetarkastuksen supermarketissa eikä käsitellä muita ihmisiä!"

"This was a magical find. We arrived without a reservation, but they had room and welcomed us in. We enjoyed a clean, splendid room and huge bath and shower. All the amenties were spectacular. Michelle's breakfast was impossible to beat - homemade breads, made to order eggs, freshly processed bacon - o it was scrumptious. And to top it off the working farm had a splendid charm all on its own. Its location (Stonehaven) is a mecca for tourists, and centrally located for numerous activities and restaurants. Chapel of Barras Farm will not disappoint!"
