This was our second visit to the Woolverton Inn in Stockton, and it won’t be our last. From the magnificent grounds and beautiful stone building, to the cozy comfort of the Garden Cottage, we could have stayed forever! Mary and Mario, the owners, have thought of every detail for a lovely stay. The bed was perfect, the soaking tub and beautiful big shower in the huge bathroom was magical, and the fireplace was wonderful on a chilly afternoon. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the assortment of excellent baked goods available any time in the main building was hard to resist. We so enjoyed sitting outside on the Adirondack chairs with our pup, watching the adorable sheep, and taking long walks around the grounds. The best part has to be the staff, and I can’t say enough about their welcoming kindness and accommodation. Chris, CeeCee, Chris, Mario and the rest of the staff made our stay just perfect, and I can’t think of a more beautiful place to rest and relax, especially with the stunning and excellent (recently opened) Northridge Restaurant next door. Everything about the Woolverton Inn is exactly how a B&B should be. We’ll be back!

What a relaxing get-away! We stayed in the Audubon cottage and loved it! The gas fireplace was a nice treat, as was looking out the window and seeing sheep grazing right there! You can also feed the sheep. The management can give you a tin cup with food in it, so when the sheep hear you shake the cup, they come right up to the end of the fence. The breakfast choices are excellent. I don't think I have tasted better homemade muffins in my life! The welcoming staff and rustic environment make this a true favorite. Can't wait to go back.

My husband and I are celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary by doing something special every month of the year. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay overnight at the Woolverton Inn, which is a gorgeous old manor house. Julia Child was married her in 1946! Fresh baked goods, healthy snacks, fruit, coffee, tea, sodas were available all the time. We had a lovely room with a fireplace that we enjoyed, a very comfortable bed and pillows, modern bathroom. The included breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed it in the dining room, although they would have served us in our room if we had preferred. We went out to dinner at the Black Bass Inn and after checking out, went and enjoyed looking through shops in New Hope on our way home. It could not have been nicer!

My wife and I recently enjoyed our 4th weekend trip to the Woolverton, and it continues to exceed our expectations every time. We stayed in the Hunterdon Cottage, which we absolutely love. The room is beautifully and cozy, my wife especially loves the view of the fireplace from the jetted tub, making it the perfect spot for unwinding. I had reservations of trying the new onsite restaurant, but it turned out to be excellent! The space is beautiful, the food was excellent, the owner Mario and our waitress were extremely friendly! The staff at the Woolverton Inn are incredibly friendly and attentive. Their warm hospitality makes each visit even more enjoyable, which is one of the reasons we keep coming back. We can't wait for our next visit!

The Woolverton Inn, located in the quaint town of Stockton, NJ is only minutes away from attractions such as Peddler’s Village, New Hope, PA and Lambertville, NJ. The Inn offers a romantic atmosphere full of peace and relaxation. Food is amazing! The chef uses locally sourced ingredients to prepare and serve a tasty breakfast selection. The staff is incredible! Full of kindness and willingness to help make your stay excellent. A special thanks to Kailea for making my proposal to my girlfriend come to life by creating an area on the property to be both simple and intimate making my proposal forever memorable. Many thanks… Definitely looking forward to another stay.

What an amazing place. The rooms are wonderful. We stayed in the Letitia suite and it was so warm and inviting, and the bathroom was wonderful with an amazing shower. The owners are wonderful and their staff is the best I can ever remember. Oh and their restaurant was delicious.

We enjoyed a lovely welcoming and very pleasant stay facilitated by a very thoughtful and accommodating staff at the Woolverton Inn. This is a place that we will never forget for the fresh-made breakfasts and super delicious coffee which is specially created by a local vendor for the Woolverton Inn. Breakfast at the porch offered a view of adorable shrubbery and flowers very carefully maintained.
The location of the Inn is perfect with just a few minutes away from New Hope, Lambertville, Peddler’s Village and other beautiful small towns and numerous farms.
Our thanks to Mary and Mario and their team at the Woolverton Inn.

Booked a get away birthday this past weekend. Pulling up to property was breath taking. Exquisitely maintained and restored sheep farm. Main building was decorated with festive live Christmas tree. Welcoming coffee, pastries and courteous staff. Hunterdon cottage was immaculate, inviting with fire place , bathroom spa quality and peaceful views of grazing sheep. Dinner at On site restaurant was spectacular. BYOB and reasonable prices. Owner, Mario, made point to introduce himself and make sure our accommodations were satisfactory. ( over and above)***** Can’t wait to return to experience other seasons.
