Blev avisad ganska barskt av en vakt utanför för att vi försökte gå in på framsidan av Berns, kunde varit mer service mindad. Hotelrummet var otroligt fint. Tyvärr matchade inte balkongen samma standard som hotellrummet. Ögräs runt betongplattorna och buskarna saknade omvårdnad, näring och rensning av ogräs. Men i sin helhet var det ok.
Frukosten var fanatiskt god gjort fina råvaror. Bästa juicerna vi druckit på en hotelfrukokst

Berns Hotel is a gem! We really enjoy the personal tone, combined with the international atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable, well equipped and decorated. The restaurant is exiting and so are the bar and the night clubs. We miss nothing!

A quirky boutique hotel in the central area of Stockholm offering you access to local restaurants and shipping. We had a lovely stay at this hotel with wonderful friendly staff and a fabulous breakfast that was served in the ballroom. My only gripe was the disco/nightclub outside which went on until the early hours. Yep, years ago I would have loved it, but during a city break where you are exploring from morning until dusk and all you want is a quiet drink and a comfortable bed a loud party outside is not ideal. Thankfully I had packed ear plugs so don't be off by my gripes as it was a super stay.

Great location as you are near the ferries and public transportation. Historical building with lost of character and charm. Breakfast is served in the restaurant hall which is beautiful.
Staff are really friendly and helpful.
Only drawback is if you are unfortunate enough to get a room facing the street as every night the music and noise from the downstairs club will keep you up well past midnight.

We were not aware that the hotel has a nightclub on the weekends with loud music until 3 AM. We slept poorly the first night because of the incessant beat. But the hotel cheerfully moved us to a better room the next day. My daughter had the same experience with a loud vibration in the room, but they were moved to a better room.
It would be helpful to know about this ahead of time to request a quiet room on a higher floor.
Otherwise the hotel was excellent! Beautiful, well-maintained, fabulous breakfast, great location, helpful and cheerful staff.

Absolutely stunning period hotel which is a delight to come back too at the end of a day of sight seeing. Great breakfasts in the huge chandelier festooned dining hall. Our room was comfortable. We slept well by and large. Hotel rooms can be a bit warm at times and you’ll need to keep your windows open on summers days. Hotel does host events which can generate a distant hubbub of noise. It was silent more or less after midnight though. Staff were really kind and helpful. We had an issue with a room on the night we arrived. We spoke with the receptionist and were given a choice of three alternatives. They helped us move and it was no fuss despite being 10pm. Excellent location if nothing else. Bains hotel is a major landmark in its own right and you’ll feel like your staying in a piece of stockholms history.
