King Street Aparthotel

Decent variation of options here. For us, I was a bit disappointed, but may work very well for others. disappointments: maybe I didn't read the information carefully enough. Not a 24 hour front desk, in fact we never saw any staff member. We received a code on a key pad to get in the morning via email when we arrived. No lobby whatsoever, and the business room was inaccessible to guests. Arrival is strict, 4 pm and departure 10 am with charges otherwise. I believe one of the people I met there was living there. More akin to an Airbnb than hotel. Maybe this is common in Stirling or Scotland? I saw signs that said "service apartments" around town, so I'm trying to be fair. But I wish I'd known. We went with the lowest price and it was NOT an apartment - in fact it's a small room and bathroom. The king room bed is smaller than our queen bed at home (USA) and sagged in the middle. No tissues provided. They have a cleaning service that is supposed to be every day but the first day they were in the room....and didn't do ANYTHING - including removing rubbish or cleaning the mirror. So they just stopped by to....look at our stuff? Great aspects: spotless clean and while room was small we found it efficient. A/C was perfect, In fact everything in the room and locks was in working order. They have a fitness room with a few machines (no treadmill) but no water or anything to wipe down machines after using. Quiet. Fabulous location. Nice coffee machine and kettle with a nice glass jar of milk provided in small refrigerator. To summarize: Not a hotel. Not necessarily an apartment, could be a cosy room and a fitness room available.

Fantastic hotel, highly recommended. I wasn't sure I would write such a glowing review as we arrived late and had missed our final email with details of getting into the hotel. However, Laura to the rescue. We called and Laura helped us so much in a manner that was incredibly thoughtful, kind and putting our needs first. Once in our room we wished we were staying longer. Well appointed, clean, upgraded linens, comfortable bed and everything you need for a stay and you can't beat the location. We walked to everything in town - restaurants, shops and attractions. Very impressed with every aspect of this hotel and we will readily promote it to our friends and hope to return soon.

An amazing stay right in the heart of Stirling, all within a short train ride of historic Edinburgh. Luxury without the capitals price tag. Facilities are second to none. The decor gives an insight into Stirlings heritage. Although there is no restaurant onsite, there is an array of top notch eateries and bars on the doorstep. This aparthotel provides an ideal base for exploring Scotland's history. Can't wait to stay again!

My wife and I stayed here recently, We were both very impressed by the suite that we had. Luxurious, very quiet, clean, comfortable and spacious. We loved the location as it's right in the heart of the city, Well within walking distance of the castle and other tourist attractions and historical locations. There were plenty of places to eat and drink locally and we always found coffee shops, cafes and restaurants close by. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend the King St. ApartHotel to everyone.

We stayed for a single night at King Street Aparthotel on our way through to Glasgow. It is an immaculately clean and comfortable apartment hotel that provides a luxurious environment in a lovely city. The principle of not having a bar or restaurant gave us the opportunity to try out the local hospitality venues and the arrangements for breakfast with the local cafe is a great way to engage with the community. From the high end finishes to the fantastically comfortable beds, we had a perfect base to explore the local area. Despite being located in the middle of the city centre we had a a really relaxing and peaceful stay.

From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were blown away. Our room was an absolute dream, beautifully designed with luxurious touches. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The hotel's location was perfect, within walking distance of all the main attractions in Stirling. We enjoyed exploring the historic castle, wandering through the charming streets, and sampling the local cuisine at the nearby restaurants. Overall, our stay was exceptional. It exceeded all of our expectations and we can't wait to return in the future.
