This three bedroom, three and one-half bath home is located in Steinhatchee Landing Resort. A former vacation home of President and Mrs. Jimmy Carter, the house is ideally located for guests wishing to scallop, fish, or just enjoy the resort's many amenities, which include an outdoor pool, exercise facilities, sauna, hot tub, petting zoo, archery range, tennis and basketball courts. Fish and scallop cleaning facilities are located on the property for guest convenience. The open living area, kitchen, and dining room provide ideal space for guests to socialize while meals are prepared in the fully equipped kitchen. Each spacious bedroom has its own private bath. Two screen porches overlook the beautiful Steinhatchee River, which flows directly into the Gulf of Mexico just three miles downstream. Full laundry facilities are located in the house. The community of Steinhatchee is located in Florida's Big Bend on the Gulf of Mexico. This small community boasts an old Florida charm, yet contains amenities that guests might need, from shopping to banking to emergency health care. Two of the bedrooms have queen beds, while the third has two twin beds.
