"Upon check-in, there was an additional charge of approximately $40, plus a credit card hold of around $120, which they said would be refunded later. So, it's essentially the Trip.com price plus an extra $40. After checking in, there was absolutely no service. No toothbrushes or disposable slippers were provided. Even worse, when we got back around midnight, we found there was no shower gel. We tried calling for nearly half an hour with no answer. Then, after 1 AM, we went down to the front desk and waited a while before finally seeing a staff member. All they could say was "sorry, sorry," but they couldn't solve the problem, claiming they didn't have any. There are so many hotel choices here; definitely do not book this one."

There were supermarkets and chain restaurants nearby, and it was located in South Lake Tahoe, making it very convenient for getting around.
