Which included a brand new kitchen, new floors throughout, new showers, and new deck. Our philosophy is that if there's something we would need when staying there, our guests will need it too. You will find a kitchen completely stocked for cooking, baking, and grilling (with appliances, such as a split double oven convection range, a microwave, a crockpot, griddle, hand mixer, popcorn maker, rice maker, Keurig, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, etc.). Plus, access a variety of games, a sewing kit, a first aid kit, iron and ironing board, luggage racks, a chair in each bedroom, and many other amenities. After a long day enjoying all that the Outer Banks offers, you can sit back relax and watch shows on the 75" Smart TV. The home offers WiFi and the television is equipped with an Amazon Fire TV Stick, there is no cable television. The house sits on the main canal off the Albemarle Sound with a dock for fishing or boat tie-up. If you are a fishing fan (like us!), check out the fish table/cleaning station! Boat dock has electricity, water, and lighting. We provide fishing rods and a simple tackle box. The house also offers an enclosed outdoor shower, which in our opinion is the best part of any beach house. We also have an outdoor entertainment area underneath the house, excellent for Crab Feasts and other group activities. One of the main highlights is the view! Sea Spray Cottages were built in 1950. There are 5 cottage in total, each cottage is similar to the others, but unique in its own way. My wife and I have been operating the SEA SPRAY COTTAGES OBX for vacation rentals since 2009. We run a mom & pop operation, an experience from a day gone-by but thoroughly enjoyed by our guests.Cottage #4 is very unique to the outer banks; it is a one-bedroom cottage. It is perfect for couples who want to spend time at the beach in a well-appointed space without distraction from others. The cottage has a large great room with living, dining, kitchen, and desk space. The bedroom has a queen-size bed (linens and towels NOT provided) and tiled bath with tub/shower combination. Cottage #4 has a wrap-around porch that has a seating area to enjoy your favorite beverages at and a private outdoor dining area. There also is a patio in the rose garden for sunning on days that the beach may be a little too cool. Check in is at 4 and check out is at 10.Dogs are welcome, we try to keep it to 2 (the cottages are primarily for folks). $125 for the first two and $100 each after that. Also unique to the Outer Banks, Cottage #4 is available for nightly stays even during the summer. In the summer we do have a 3-night minimum. The location of Sea Spray Cottages OBX is ideal. Centrally located at Mile Post 11.7 in Nags Head, just south of the Nags Head pier and north of Snowbird Soft Serve Ice Cream Shop. It is on the west side of the 'beach road' and faces the cottages that backup to the ocean (they are ocean front). If your desired dates of travel are not available in this cottage, we have others.
