Always check the weather before traveling. The county plows this road, however, during a major storm it could take significant time for the road to be plowed but this is rare. There are also shovels provided for the driveway. During the winter months make sure to have chains available. We encourage you to purchase travel insurance for any home in the mountain area, especially for Yosemite.During the summer there is extreme fire danger. There is absolutely NO tolerance for smoking and outdoor fires during the summer months except the propane fire pit. The county will HEAVILY fine you for creating any campfires plus it will be documented via cameras and/or neighbors.Parking is in front of the garage and 2 additional spots right when you turn left to get up to the driveway/garage area.
