Be careful, there is a hidden charge ”A $25 daily urban experience fee will be charged to each room” at this hotel Fairmont Chicago - Millennium Park. The breakfast charge is very tricky if you have prepaid. 1st you have to argue that you have prepaid for the breakfast for each person in the room. 2nd you need to ask and confirm with the front desk how much the credit is for the breakfast you have paid (my case $38 for each person daily, covers taxes and tips). It is not buffet breakfast, you need to pay extra when you check out if you have ordered more than your credit for the breakfast. When I asked that if I missed one breakfast, can I use the extra credit for the next day. The answers were different from different staff members. A very expensive hotel focusing on big conferences, there are no microwave oven, empty refrigerator (you can request) in the room and swimming pool. Do not lift up the drinks and snacks in the box on the table (there are sensors underneath) unless you don't mind to be charged. The existing refrigerator is full of drinks. I was afraid to touch it, even the concierge didn't know how to open the refrigerator lock. But the coffee and tea are free. There is a person (not housekeeper) comes to the room to check and refill all the drinks and snacks including the free ones. We booked our room many weeks earlier, after we checked in I realized that the room prices dropped comparing our original prices, maybe not enough conference people attending. Varasimme huoneen, joka oli valitettavasti vääriä päivämääriä kolmannella osapuolella. Kolmannen osapuolen mukaan he palauttavat meidät mutta hotellin oli vapautettava varauksemme. Soitimme heille heti kun huomasimme päivämäärät olivat vääriä, joka oli tunnin kuluessa. Varaus oli kaksi päivää sitten. Hotelli sanoi, että he eivät peruuta sitä. The hotel’s best value lies in the location — 3 min to Starbucks Roastery, ~ 15/20 min walk to the magnificent mile, and close to subway stations. But lacking certain facilities which I consider necessary to ensure safety of solo travellers (access to different floors only by room keys, and a safe). Also the bed in the room was close to the door, so I could hear the elevator bells and people’s conversations in hallway. For housekeeping, overall the room was well-cleaned. However, the housekeeping staff still knocked on the door trying to come in the room, when I hung up the “Do Not Disturb” sign. Overall, good hotel for a short stay.

Accidentally booked this hotel during the Days of the Dead event that was going on at the hotel that weekend. So when I arrived I was surprised by many of the attendees, but some absolutely interest costumes and people were there. Even saw Alice Cooper and several stars of the current hit movie Terrifier hanging out in the lobbies and at the restaurant. This hotel is located across the street from the convention center and also the Rosemont Theater and close to O'Hare. That was my biggest problem, so many loud planes flying over (very closely) all through the night. My room was on the side next to the Rosemont Theater and their very bright sign was a little annoying, especially since the blinds don't close all the way to block off the light or help with sound reduction. As with most busy hotels, the unfortunate noises from other guests slamming doors or taking a shower is something I might expect at a lower name brand hotel - unfortunately these problems are present at this location too. My room purchase came with free breakfast buffet at the restaurant, and it was absolutely fantastic. A wide variety of fresh fruits and standard breakfast foods, all laid out nicely and neat. I would hit this place up for breakfast anytime I am in that neighborhood. Staff was friendly, took the hotel shuttle back to O'Hare. Has a decent size indoor pool and a couple of workout rooms, which I didn't use. Also had a Caddyshack themed bar and restaurant, food was also decent there.

This is the second time my husband and I stayed at Eurostars! We live this hotel for it's close proximity to a lot of shops, restaurants, tourist attractions, supermarkets, bars. I love that they have a sauna to use whenever I need a detox. The room is spacious and the staffs are super friendly and accommodating! This is such a hidden gem and my go to hotel whenever I visit Chicago! Definitely go to their restaurant downstairs which is situated within the hotel (River North Bistro) for Happy Hour!!!!

Rather good inexpensive hotel near O'Hare airport. Rooms are spacy and clean. Customer service is nice. Would recommend to stay there!

Good location! Very convenient to start the tour in the city. The curtains at the bed for privacy can be bigger. Safety wise, just try not to roam around after dark.

I've never had such an experience before. In my whole life I barely give 2 stars feedback to property, honestly I just wanna give 1 star feedback but the residents are friendly and nice that why I add one more star for them. The location is really convenient, room setting is super clean and organization. However, the black old lady who works at front desk is really mean and rude, she tried to bully me when I was checking in. Her service attitude likes she's guest I'm staff, and I owed her money, too. After check in my mood is really down, so I can't get any reason is why I pay almost $400 a night come here to get treatment like that. If you come to check Chicago I won't recommend this hotel for, or if you like the hotel but don't come to check in around 11am-1pm on Saturday！

I was to pay 117 at check in per room. Hotel made me par 285 for something I didn’t have time to use which was tickets to attractions and that fee included a fee for checking out. ..49 a room for coupons snd 65 per room check out fee. Our car was too tall for the 85.00 a night parking but the garage at the corner only charged 58.00 a night. I wouldn’t recommend driving downtown Chicago unless you like being stressed out. I’m asking trip.com to reimburse the difference between the 117 and 185.
