The Lookout Tower is 2 stories so guests must be able to use a spiral staircase or exterior wood stairs. The Main living and dining area is located upstairs while the bedroom, bathroom and laundry facilities are located downstairs. The walkthrough below is as if you’re entering through the front door and exiting through the second floor sliding glass door.Did we mention adventure? Due to the steep driveway, we recommend a 4x4 or AWD in order to reach the lookout tower even with the freshly paved driveway as the main road is still gravel. You may park at the lower driveway and hike up to the home (2 minute walk) if it looks too daunting - This may also be required in the winter months depending on the snow conditions. We promise it is all worth it once you take in the views! Especially sitting in the two-person hot tub that overlooks the valley.The city of Sandpoint is known for trains, so you'll hear the train whistle from the valley below.
