It will take you through gorgeous meadows and quaint small towns, and over to the Sangre de Cristo mountains and the Spanish Peaks. Highway 12 will take you over to Walsenburg and another state park, Lathrop State Park.Trinidad has a great live music scene, such as at the Trinidad Lounge or The Well.There are fine art galleries, antique shops and gift shops on Main St. and Commercial St., as well as a first-class museum, the A.R. Mitchell Museum of Western Art.Main Street Live! offers diverse theatrical performances.There are numerous restaurants to choose from. Highly recommended are Bella Luna's for pizza & drinks, Mission at the Bell for Mexican, Nana & Nanos for wonderful Italian, The Trinidad Smokehouse, and Bob & Earl's for breakfast.Moose's is a great local martini bar, popular with locals and tourists alike. Martini master Howard will fill you in on all the local goings-on. Come stay in our beautifully updated, historic miner's cabin in scenic Trinidad, CO, with lovely views of Fisher's Peak from the front porch and bedroom window. This charming cottage has original, blond wood floors, a full-size kitchen with full-size stove and refrigerator, separate bedroom, 3/4 bath, and a full-size washer/dryer. We have installed a new ceiling fan in the living room and new floors in the kitchen and bathroom. Our cabin also has had new Anderson windows, so you can freely open and close them to enjoy the fresh, clean Colorado air. The cabin has a/c for your summer time comfort. You will have access to the front yard, backyard and deck to enjoy the beautiful Colorado weather. It is walking distance to historic Kit Carson park, and we are just five blocks from the dispensaries, restaurants, and bars on Commercial Street. We are 420 friendly inside and on font porch and back deck. As our guests, you will have sole access to our extra-long driveway. While we love our fur babies, pets are not allowed due to other guests' allergies. Please no tobacco smoking inside. Our cabin is perfect for couples looking for a romantic getaway or for single travelers who seek a safe, picturesque place to relax. Bicycling enthusiasts will also be pleased with ample space to keep their bikes and other equipment.
