This recently designed 3 level log home features an open floor plan where the kitchen, dining area and living room seamlessly blend into each other. Lots of light is provided through the two story high windows and a huge wraparound deck and covered porch are easily accessed for outdoor dining. A stone fireplace with a pellet stove makes for cozy winters and above the fireplace whilst an authentic Black Bear watches over you. The kitchen of course is fully equipped with everything you would expect and the furniture in the living room is very comfortable. Towards the back, you will find the Master Bed Room with a queen bed. It connects to the Master bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, toilet and a double vanity.The house offers easy access for those with moderate mobility problems, as we installed a gently sloping ramp between the parking lot and the front door.Upstairs, you will find two bed rooms, each with two twin beds. One of the two bed rooms has private access to the full bathroom with separate toilet, shower tub and double vanity. At the front of the house, there is a loft for relaxing with extensive views. On the lower level, you will find another bed room with a queen bed. The bathroom has a tiled shower, toilet and sink. The Family room offers a comfortable two seat sofa, a couch, an easy chair and a 42 inch TV. At the back of the cabin, there is a picnic table, fire pit and a park style grill. Sliding glass doors lead out to wrap around deck, with tranquil views over woods. Upstairs are three bedrooms with queen sized master bedroom and en suite. The three remaining twin bedrooms share a second upstairs bathroom. Downstairs is a basement bedroom with two twin beds. The main level features a living room, Vaulted ceilings, Bear decor throughout the cozy cabin, flat screen TV in the living room, brand new queen size sleeper sofa, recliner, child’s rocking chair, and toys/ books for children. The bedroom features a brand new plush pillow top queen size mattress , tv, nightstand, bear lamp, and chest of drawers in the closet. The closet also has extra blankets, pillows for the sleeper sofa, a large comforter for the sleeper sofa, and extra sheets. There is also hangers in the closet. You will also find an iron and iron board if needed.There is also fully equipped kitchen and dining table, full bathroom/shower/ tub, and washer/dryer. The home is a fully furnished home with outdoor seating, a fire pit, and a beautiful river front view. It is a great starting point for exploring all the beautiful sites and attractions that southern West Virginia and the New River Gorge have to offer or a wonderful place to enjoy a relaxing stay on the river.To get to the home, you will go across railroad tracks, we are near the railroad tracks. It is in a small, friendly neighborhood. You can walk to Sandstone General Store and Eatery to get any necessities you may have forgotten for your trip or get a meal.If you plan to fish, there is also a bait and tackle store. Be sure to have a WV fishing license to be able to fish, though. The Sandstone public river access is right by the house. You may see people going to the river at the public river access as well as people putting their boats in the river.An extra that we provide our guests is access to the Sandstone Landings patio on the river, this is a shared space with our Sandstone Landings guests. It is just a short walk down river from the home. The upper level of the patio is equipped with a dining table and chairs.
