Circle H Lodge, an historic house from the early 1900's, is near Leakey in an area of the Texas Hill Country noted for magnificent scenery. Yes, we're close to Concan, TX, too. The lodge is located in a lovely, secluded valley on Circle H Ranch. This is a working ranch devoted to the preservation of wildlife and is home to many species of both native and non-native animals. The lodge is decorated in Cowboy High Style with antiques and Cowboy -Indian memorabilia. There is a natural rock swimming pool in front of the lodge which is only accessible by LODGE GUESTS. During the evening hang out with family or friends at the old cantina located behind the lodge.This two-story lodge has been completely renovated. It has central heat and air-conditioning and provides all the amenities. There is a large living and dining area. The five bedrooms and additional sleeping sunroom (fully enclosed with AC/HEAT) will sleep up to 16 people maximum. Rates are based on up to 8 people. The three (3) other bedrooms are located in two (2) separate structures. Each bedroom in this rental has its own bath and there is a half (1/2) bath located outside by the pool/outdoor kitchen. Located on the north end of the Frio River Canyon, this rental is conveniently located 4 miles from Leakey, 5 miles from Garner State Park, and 4.5/5 miles from the 336 and 337 Sisters. Because of VRBO's integration with Google Maps, their site states that this rental is a 12 minute drive to the Frio River. That is not true. The closest public access point is 2 miles to the north on RR 1120. Casa Pacana is wonderfully similar to renting your own resort without all the random strangers. The totally fenced/zero-entry pool has a built-in bench on the opposite end making relaxing inevitable for everyone. The 337 River House is a great getaway on a 1.7 acre lot on the Frio River in the town of Leakey, Texas. The main house and a bunkhouse are set way back from the road, and behind the houses, there is a tall swing set among shade trees, a gated volleyball pool, and a large covered pavilion near the steps that lead down the riverbank to the river.
