We are approx 20 minutes from Spencer and 40 minutes from IU and Bloomington.Guests have access to the house and adjacent 16 acres of fields, creek, and woods.The property borders the Green's Bluff Nature Preserve. This suite is both the Parkview suite and adjoining bonus family room. It is set up with 3 queen size beds and a queen size sleeper sofa. It’s layout is open when the Murphy beds are up and spacious for a small group but accommodating for a group of 8 when it’s time to sleep. Toss in the rollaway cot and it sleeps 9. It’s got a 1 and 1/2 baths, full kitchen and nearly 25’ of windows overlooking the lodges grand patio and with pavilion. Relax inside or out, in the shared pool or on the lake and be sure to visit the Cataract Falls a short drive from the house.Next to Captain Bill's Lake house is Captain Bill's and Becky's main home. Depending on the time of year (pool is seasonal), guests are welcome to the pool area. The pool is in a private setting, available to myself and invited guests. The pool opens the third week in May and closes end of September. Depending on the times you visit you may have the entire pool area to yourself or shared with Captain Bill, Becky and friends. This Suite is one of three Suites in the lodge that can be rented individually or combined. The suite sleeps up to 4 people in a luxurious setting with a kitchenette to rival the best a fancy hotel suite has to offer. In addition to a comfortable interior this suite like every suite in the lodge has its own personal outdoor accommodations with pavilion, fire pit and gas grill.
