There is always a chance to see wildlife such as deer, otters, fox, coyote, bald eagles, geese, mergansers, and cranes. In the warm months, you'll also see many people floating the river as Fort Spring to Alderson is one of the most popular river floats with small rapids and white water.You will have full access to the dome, the deck and the grass area next to dome. There is private river access but please note that the path to the river is currently very rustic & rocky. Keep this in mind if you plan to access the river or bring a kayak or similar boat/float. We live on the property and are available if you need anything.Other details to note:There are train tracks on the other side of the river. Trains run any time of the day and night and can be loud.
