The Preserve is a 2800 acre area that's located in Rising Fawn Ga. We are 35 miles from Chattanooga Tn and 2 hours from Atlanta Ga., Nashville Tn., Knoxville Tn. and Birmingham Al.Come stay and this beautiful rustic wood cabin and enjoy the sounds of nature. Renting this cabin gives you access to multiple fishing lakes. We are 30 minutes from downtown Chattanooga where you can enjoy the Tennessee Aquarium, take a walk over the Walnut Street Bridge and enjoy Coolidge Park or you can visit Rock City or Ruby Falls. We are 15 minutes from Cloudland Canyon State Park where you can enjoy miles of hiking trails. We are 20 minutes from the Wilderness Outdoor Movie Theater if you would like to go to a drive in movie. The outdoor theater closes during the Winter. Cabin has a coded door lock. I will send guests a message with the code the day before they are scheduled to arrive. Our home and the 5-STAR guest cottage sit on 11 ac. nestled in the valley on a hilltop between Lookout and Sand Mountains. Our driveway is over 400 feet long which allows lots of privacy. The cottage was built as a mother-in-law suite and sleeps two adults very comfortably, located across the driveway from our home. There is a pond that is about 1.5 ac and located along the lower driveway. We're located 1 - 3 miles from several good local and chain restaurants in Trenton, Georgia. Rock City, Ruby Falls, and Chattanooga, 20 -25 minutes. Ruby Falls features a 40-foot climbing tower with five routes of varying difficulty and 700 feet of rushing zip lines with amazing views of the Tennessee Valley! Also Lookout Mountain Flight Park- Hang Gliding and Paragliding Training Center. One of the best hang gliding experiences in the country is only 10 minutes away.Cloudland Canyon is only 10 minutes, hiking paths include the short Overlook Trail, strenuous Waterfalls Trail, and moderate West Rim Loop Trail. Mountain biking is available at the newly developed Five Points Recreation Area and along the Cloudland Connector Trail. Bright and colorful.Deer frequent the property, adding beauty to the surroundings. A variety of birds provide hours of bird watching. Summer months are wonderful for enjoying the many species of butterflies. While at the cottage, you'll feel like you're a million miles away, yet, you're conveniently located to the attractions of Chattanooga, Chickamauga and Lookout Mountain. Majestic views of the valley and incredible sunsets are a short walk from the property. The Lookout Mountain Flight Park (hang gliding launch site) is just at the end of the driveway. Rock City, Ruby Falls, Point Park and beautiful Cloudland Canyon State Park are all within a short drive.Well behaved dogs are welcome, but no more than two are allowed. No aggressive dogs and no dogs that bark a lot. Dogs cannot be left unattended in cottage unless in a crate and must be own a leash when walked. They must be walked along the driveway and not allowed to use the backyard as a bathroom, its too small a space. Pets are not allowed on furniture. Prior permission must be obtained.Please Note: Do not use gps to locate driveway, it's inaccurate.
