Located in Lake, this cottage is a 1-minute drive from Crooked Lake and 7 minutes from Gray Lake. This cottage is 2.3 mi (3.6 km) from Eight Point Lake and 4.6 mi (7.3 km) from Bass Lake. This smoke-free cottage features hunting on site. Free self parking is available onsite. Make yourself comfortable in this cottage, which features a fireplace. There's a private balcony. A kitchen is outfitted with an oven, a stovetop, and a microwave. Conveniences include a ceiling fan and an iron/ironing board, and you can also request a crib/infant bed (complimentary).

This little apartment is very cozy and located on our lake front property with lots of privacy. Nestled into 5 acres on Long Lake in Harrison MI we call this a slice of heaven. Our lake offers excellent fishing, boating, canoeing and kayaking! We have two canoes and several kayaks and also have a paddle boat that carries 4 people. Life jackets are available for adults, however if you have small children, we recommend bringing a life jacket for them. Sporting equipment is available for everyone to share other than the pontoon is not available to guest! You also have your own gas grill, your own patio, shared fire-pit for bonfires with chairs. Our home is located on an all sports lake so bring your boat. We require letting us know in advance if you are bringing your own boat, so that we can prepare. There's a pingpong table in the garage that is shared with owners! We also have a Corn Hole with bags for use along with Ladder Golf for our guests to use. There are local walking trails, 4X Advertureland with putt putt, go-karts, ice cream, escape room etc. We have a small quaint town that offers a fruit market with fresh veggies and fruit and local Michigan products along with amazing ice cream. There are several small restaurants, one medium size grocery store with an incredible meat market and then a much larger store south of town. If you are staying with us for longer than a weekend and you want to venture out for a different change of pace we have several locations within 85-130 miles that would be worth a day trip. Mackinaw Island is 130 miles from our location. Traverse City is 85 miles, Petosky is 112 miles. Michigan is absolutely a beautiful state and our location is central located so that you can venture out and return home by evening. With six bedrooms, three bathrooms, two kitchens, a living room and family room, you’ll find the right space to have the comforts of home while enjoying the relaxing atmosphere of a lake get-away. It is the perfect blend of family time located on a quiet canal with a DNR boat launch nearby. A neighborhood beach for swimming in the big lake is just down the road.Our property has a sandy area for the kids to play but not an area for swimming. In the summer of 2025, the water in our canal dried up completely due to drought conditions. We are hoping for a snowy winter and rainy spring to bring back the water in front of our house. We provide kayaks that can be taken to the boat launch to drop in or for a river ride down the Muskegon River. There's a grill on the deck and nice play area for the kids. There's plenty of room for yard games like corn hole and ladder ball.The house is just 3.8 miles away from the Pere Marquette Rail Trail which is great for walking, biking and snowmobiling. Six golf courses are within 30 miles and Soaring Eagle Casino is about 30 minutes away. Additional fun can be had tubing or kayaking down the Muskegon River which is only about 15 minutes away.
