We think you’ll enjoy your relaxing time here tucked away among the Piney Woods and huge Oaks on our place.Equipped with a Queen size Murphy Bed to maximize living space, recliner couch, additional recliners with ottomans, a large bathroom with walk-in shower and kitchen with full-size fridge, microwave, Keurig, and toaster. Enjoy the huge back porch/patio while grilling or just sitting around the fire pit.The property total is 11 acres some wooded some open area. We live in the home beside the detached garage.The private apartment is attached to the rear of the detached garage.Guest accessYou will have the whole apartment, your own covered porch/patio and yard with parking in the front of garage. Follow the sidewalk beside the garage to the apartment door under the covered patio. Feel free to wander around the acreage, but make sure you know the boundary of our acreage before going out.Other things to noteThere are many good places to eat and visit while you are staying here, too many to list here, so feel free to ask us the most current and nearby when you arrive.If you enjoy cycling, guests have commented our place is a great location to stay to cycle the roads in the area without having to drive to the roads. Visit the nearby Cherokee trace drive thru Safari park, Mission Tejas, Caddo Mounds, I.D Fairchild state forest,and Texas State railroad. Enjoy spring Wild flowers , birding, or experience a brilliant night sky unobstructed by city lights. Enjoy pastoral views of grazing livestock. Collect fresh eggs and feed the resident pot bellied pigs. In the fall you can pick Pecans and experience the Texas fall colors. Polar express is booking right now. We have Horse accomodations available for trail riders and plentiful parking for boat haulers. Proximity to Davy Crockett National forest, Historic Nacogdoches, Canton trade days and Tyler Rose park. Bunkhouse sleeps 4, with additional sleeping area on the pull out sofa bed. Bunkhouse also has refrigerator, coffee maker and toaster oven. Full kitchen is located in the Cook house. Guests have access to Bunkhouse, pool house and swimming pool.(No lifeguard on Duty, Guests swim at their own risk.) If you can't cut the cord at work, we have fast wi-fi . This is a working ranch with livestock. Pool is not heated and may be too cold for bookings after September. Extra fee for horses.
