The cottage has everything you need for a peaceful break away from it all and is suitable for families, couples and friends.Delawarr Cottage is on a quiet country road but within walking distance of the town, Quay, marinas and many fabulous pubs and restaurants. The location is ideally suited if you enjoy walking and cycling as it’s very close the Lymington sea wall and Nature reserve.THE SPACE: Delawarr cottage is detached and situated in the grounds of De La Warr House, the owners Grade II listed home which dates back to 1700's.The cottage has open plan living, dining and well equipped kitchen. The living area has patio doors leading out to the garden patio area. The dining table seats 4. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need including an induction hob and washing machine. Also situated on the ground floor is the cosy double bedroom. Upstairs you will find twin bedded room and bathroom.Bathroom is wet room style with wc, basin and open shower. The garden has a patio and lawn for you to relax and enjoy on warmer days. There’s is parking for 2 cars.SAFETY INFORMATION: Please be aware, there is a deep pool within the grounds of the main house. There is post and rail fencing around the cottage. It is a private pool for the owners of the main house personal use only, and not for use by guests. Beaufort house is an extremely spacious, beautiful, stylish apartment on 2 floors with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Bursting with character in the heart of the historic town of Lymington within the New Forest National Park.The space:Beaufort House is full of charming character with high ceilings and wooden beams, The apartment is very light and airy, with a sun trap terrace to sit out on and enjoy a coffee and some down time.We are situated on the high street above Caldwells estate agents. So right in the heart of it all.My Father purchased the property in February 2018, and together we have re-designed and refurbished with beautiful furniture, fabrics and accessories.There are two bedrooms on the second floor, one with a kingsize bed and en-suite. This room has a beautiful navy velvet headboard with a large blanket box in the same fabric, a large wardrobe and plenty of drawers to store your belongings during your stay.The second bedroom, is a cosy double, there is a gorgeous orange flower print headboard, we have gone bright in this room as it is a small space so we wanted it to be bright but cosy too. There is a wooden open hanging unit to hang clothes, also there are two drawers in the bed base if more storage is required.The lounge is a bright room with it's beautiful ornate coving , and blue Farrow and Ball walls to make the furniture and art stand out. The paintings have been shipped over from South Africa so that it has a bit of a SA feel too.There is a downstairs bathroom with a bath, mirror with light sensor switch to the sideFully equipped kitchen, Nespresso coffee machine,Japanese kitchen knives, very sharp so please be careful! .Kitchen leads onto a beautiful sunny terrace garden with a gas webber BBQ.Parking is available via 2 car parks within easy walking distance to the apartment. We provide a complimentary 24-hour New Forest District parking clock which allows free parking at most New Forest District car parks ( details on back of clock).Guest access:Our front door is on the High Street, we share this with Caldwells, straight ahead of you is another Georgian glazed door, that is to the apartment.
