I had a wonderful stay here. Highly recommend this place. The owner is very helpful, friendly and happy to help! The staff are also great. I arrived In Yangshuo by boat and could not get a taxi for some strange reason, maybe due to roadworks and very busy time of day, as a result I quickly contacted them and asked if there was another way to get there as I could not get a taxi, and instantly got a response that the boss will come pick me up and in 5min the owner had come and picked me up from my location . The homestay is very close to Yulong river and bike rentals and electric scooter rentals are offered at affordable prices and it has a beautiful ride along the river , bamboo rafting is close-by too. The owner is very friendly and knowledgable and quickly gave me recommendations and suggestions of activities best to do nearby and how to get there. On my last day the owner also gave me a ride to the shuttle bus for Longji, refused to let me take a Didi! Very hospitable, Kind and good energy. The room was more spacious than expected. It was big, clean and great view! Definitely worth a visit and Ill be going back for sure. 😌

This guest house left me with mixed feelings. Let's start with the good things. The location is super convenient: right in the old town and yet in a relatively quiet area. It's close to the river so you can take a refreshing night stroll, and close to a delicious bakery/café you'll never forget. The atmosphere of the guest house is rustic and cozy, with a laundry room that, despite its very limited space, serves the purpose. There are also cats and a dog you can freely play with. The bed was comfortable for us (a bit on the harder side). The owners speak English so you can easily communicate with them. They are very kind and helpful. However, a few things about this stay got me extremely disappointed, particularly taking into consideration the positive reviews I had read (which honestly I don't understand where they came from). The room was far from clean. There was a very visible layer of dust. The cushion seats had huge stains and looked dirty overall. The shower room did not get cleaned very regularly, as you can see from the picture. In general everything in the property looked outdated and cheap (wobbly sink taps, doors with huge gaps, that give way to all sorts of bugs and giant spiders..). The fact that the toilet is next to the shower room leaves no room for privacy and makes the toilet floor wet most of the time (this could be solved with a proper shower door instead of a curtain). In conclusion, I was more than happy to leave the property because it did not meet my standards for comfort and hygiene. However, if you don't particularly care about a certain degree of dirt and dust here and there, and are cool with bugs, then you should definitely go for it as you might really like the retro atmosphere of the place.

This is a wonderful family run guesthouse, where you can enjoy peace away from the hustle of Xingping Old Town. Differently from other types of accommodation we have seen in Dahe Bei village, this guesthouse is a hidden gem with charme and character. The food was excellent and abundant, freshly cooked by the owner herself. The owner picked us up from the Dahe Bei ferry dock, organised an electric moped rental in Dahe Bei (we didn't see many on that side of the river) and gave us plenty of tips and suggestions for where to go and what to do around there, including a sunrise hike to a nearby mountain that you can reach directly from the guesthouse - if you're into hiking (it's a 1h walk uphill through pomelo and orange orchards, followed by a series of staircases), it's a great spot, as we found only a few photographers when we got up there. The ginger cat and the house dog are cute and extremely friendly, adding to the overall wonderful atmosphere. Our room was spacious and clean, with plenty of hot water for showers after a day of hiking or driving around to see the surroundings. If we were to travel again in this area, we would definitely go back. Highly recommended!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay here. I went out of season, so I was the one of the only guests for two days, this made if even more special. if you travel during rainy season make sure to have rainboots and rain proof coats etc. The nights and mornings can get very cold so prepare warm clothes. The family helped me from booking a local shuttle bus from Yangshuo to arrive and departing and also picked me up on my day of arrival from the park entrance. The Homestay is quite far up the hills, not very easy to find you need to carpool or ask owners to help with scooter ride, but the views and people make it all the worthwhile. It is close to many hiking trails and view points. The family welcomed me with so much love the room was exactly as it said. Their food and pricing is also very affordable. They family is of the local ethnicity and they gave me an up-close view in their lives and their traditional ways. I tasted their rice wine, chilli paste , traditional tea and bamboo rice and many other delicious foods. The owners and family are very helpful and if you have any questions, or want to know more of need to get to a certain part of the area they are happy to help. This family and their black dog filled my heart with so much love and gratitude. Note for for foreign travelers: They don't speak English, but do not let this scare you if you are a foreigner, translator apps are helpful if you can't understand the language. Overall, I highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful, tranquil and family-like feeling enjoy the outdoors and nature. I will definitely be going back!

It was the best experience so far in China 🇨🇳. The owner of the hostel was organising excursions and both of them were really cool and adventurous. The first one was climbing and hiking to get to the most beautiful view of Guilin that you could possibly think of. The second one was the exploration of a cave, it was so crazy, we were hiking in places that I can define hidden gems. Both of the evenings after the activities we went to very good restaurants. I had the opportunity to go where actual locals dine at. I can suggest to anyone else to book this hostel, it's not a place to crash the night, but it is a place where you can build memories. THE BEST OF A HOTEL + THE BEST OF A HOMESTAY Choosing LINJING HOMESTAY was a great decision! I recommend it 100%. THE BEST OF A HOTEL: Spacious, beautiful, bright room with all the amenities and impeccable cleanliness. The views were fabulous, the bed was wonderful (large, with a comfortable, soft mattress and very soft sheets), it also had chairs and a table to work at, and the Wi-Fi worked very well. I liked that there were natural plants, too. The bathroom was fantastic. The bidet water gun was a pleasant surprise. You can shower with very hot water and good pressure. Don't worry if the floor gets wet: the water-repellent tiles dry very quickly. There are disposable towels if you want to bathe in the river, but there are also soft cotton towels and non-slip slippers to use in the hotel. THE BEST OF A HOMESTAY: The hosts are a warm local family. I was touched by their kindness and hospitality. They helped me a lot and always gave me fruit and other nice things to eat. They were always willing to share a cup of tea. They also got me a motorbike at a very good price. And they let me use their washing machine for free. They even drove me to the station and dropped me directly on my bus. THE SURROUNDINGS: The location is excellent. It is a quiet neighbourhood where local families live. You meet very friendly people all the time. You just have to cross the bridge in front of the hotel to get to the old quarter. Behind the hotel there is a path leading up to a viewpoint that few people know about. The path is very well signposted and is perfect for watching the sunset.

I arrived in Guilin from Kunming late after 12 am and there is no tourist information counter staff at the airport to tell me where to wait for the hotel's airport transfer driver. Fortunately an airline check-in counter officer helped me call the hotel to find out where to wait for the driver. Please note wait for the driver next to the police kiosk after leaving Gate 6 of the domestic arrival terminal and crossing the lane. It took me 15 minutes to identify the driver because the driver did not show the placard showing the hotel name Shanshuiyunshang Hotel. The driver was impatiently waiting for a foreign tourist. So I identified myself as a Singaporean looking for the transfer driver of the hotel. He replied that I can follow him, who did not declare the hotel's name. Thank God he brought a group of tourists and me to Shanshuiyunshang Hotel to check-in. I also thank God that the driver escorts me to the Airport Flower Field, which is 569 metres away from the hotel, for plane-spotting, and I walk back to the hotel within 10 minutes to check-out of the hotel for my outgoing trip from Guilin after completing my plane-spotting mission. Other than the hotel airport transfer driver, there is the odour of smoke in the room but I have to bear with it until I leave and I cannot access the hotel wifi by scanning the QR code. The hotel restaurant is very small but dragonfruit is served and the breakfast amount is sufficient to fill my hunger. Shanshuiyunshang Hotel is one of several hotels along the road of Liangjiang Town that has accommodation for tourists but this hotel is the only one in Liangjiang Town to be listed on Trip.com. I will stay here again for the purpose of plane-spotting in Liangjiang Town, the famous airport town of Guangxi.

The hotel is perfectly located, clean, and has a rooftop, which is also a restaurant, that has an amazing view of the river and the mountains around it. The room comes fully equipped, with water bottles, tooth brush, kettle, hairdryer, etc. The reception lady, and maybe owner (I don't know, but she definitely could be), speaks perfect English and was very kind and helpful with practical and sightseeing information. The vibe is laidback and family like. I would definitely recommend.

I had a great time at this hostel. The people were so friendly and they were always available on WeChat to help me out (thank you for helping me buy the bus tickets at such a late notice 🤭). Nearby were also many great restaurants（I recommend the nearby 阿秀米粉店 😋). I also greatly appreciated the curtains attached to the beds for some privacy. It's conveniently located next to the train station, but you will need to take a bus or a train to see some beautiful nature, as it is located in the middle of the city of Guilin.
