Travelodge Newcastle Seaton Burn

We stayed in a room overlooking the roadway and (I think) our room's double glazing was compromised as we could clearly hear the noise of every passing car - some which were boy racers with high revs. We complained to reception (as they asked how our night had been) and they apologised. Wether they reported it I don't know.

There were some rats in the bins nearby Everything we was pleasant.

But wouldn’t stay again, rats all over, the rooms stunk, smelt like **** in the hallway. Wasn’t the cleaness of rooms.

The room felt and smelled damp on entry. There was black mould around the window recess. The windows were so wet the water pooled on the sill. Even leaving the windows open all day did not clear the wetness. It was too cold and noisy to leave the window open at night.

Not nice outside and traffic noise at night the outside around the Greggs and burgerking needs cleaning it doesn’t look good for the hotel

This hotel is very conveniently situated near major roads. There are places to eat close by. Check in was very easy and the receptionist was very pleasant.

Stayed overnight as my hubby had an appointment, we took our furbaby with us. We arrived early abd as I was concerned about the parking timescales, we went to query at reception. We were met by Katy and Kelly who were really helpful. As our room was ready, they checked us in early. They were really friendly and customer care was excellent. Our room was clean and well aired. Yes there was some road noise, but we anticipated worse as the holtel is located next to a busy main road and is on the flight path into Newcastle airport, however, tye windows blocked out most of the noise. If staying here, go with an open mind we did and were pleasantly surprised

The hotel had an aroma of stale sweat and urine, the room was dirty, smelly with cob webs. There was no option for a proper breakfast, and I think £199 for one night was daylight robbery.

£190 for a single person for 1 night and yet No WiFi (what hotel at this prices make you pay extra to use the WiFi) and appliances not in full working order.
