Old Bank Apartments

Fabulous location in the heart of historic Stamford, yet so quiet and peaceful. The conversion is really well done — the rooms are spacious, immaculate and well proportioned. Roll-top bath in bedroom is an absolute luxury. Comfortable bed and relaxing atmosphere with some fun glitzy touches (each apartment has a bank robbery theme). This was our second stay and we will definitely be back. By the way, the dishwasher stopped working while we were there but this didn’t spoil anything for us. Wonderful holiday!

Second visit and this place does not disappoint, which is a good thing, the owners care for their property and those who stay, I have stayed in a few places in Stamford as well because i visit once a year and Old Banks just provides that homely feel, that extra touch. Communication from booking is excellent, all details for arrival are clear. Entering the apartments is smooth and simple. We selected the Sting apartment for this visit (and the last), perfect for two couples or a family with one kid, or two i suppose. Both bedrooms offer comfort in the king beds, plenty of wardrobe space and draw space. Both have en-suite bathrooms, rain showers as well so a plus and the shower gels, shampoos, conditioners provided. One of the bedrooms has a both, superb as well. Living room, very spacious, that rustic feel, well designed, well laid out and again, good size television plenty of channels (smart TV), Alexa play system, desk, breakfast bar, wash machine, fridge, cooker, everything basically one would need. Then there is the welcome pack, always a nice a touch and some good options. With this property being on the high street, one could expect noise, deliveries, people, and to be honest, although not silent, was not disturbed at all, be it later hours in the evening or early hours in the morning.

Very high spec, comfortable and location was perfect - couldn't move for cafes, shops and pubs within a stone's throw. We also liked the fact that the basics were all supplied (dishwasher tablets etc) which isn't always the case. Great apartment.

We had such a lovely stay at the Old Bank Apartments. The location was perfect and the kitchen had everything we needed. The shower was great and the bed was really comfortable. Location could not be better. Right on the High Street with an excellent choice of restaurants & pubs nearby as well as supermarkets to buy essentials. Many thanks

Excellent Appartment. Close proximity to Main Street yet offset in a quiet lane off it. Very good amenities, clean and comfortable. Top floor we were on was very quiet which is what we wanted. Wharf car park only a 5 minute walk away and only £4.20 for 24 hours parking. Wouldn’t hesitate on recommending it and thought it reasonably priced

Excellent Appartment near to centre of town but in a quiet lane off the High Street. Top floor very quiet. Good amenities and clean. Car park on Wharf road nearby and good value at £4.20 for 24 hours . Appartment reasonably priced overall. Would definitely recommend
