Recently popped in for dinner on a date night. The staff were friendly and gave us a look round the hotel as they knew it was our first time there. The hotel is stunning. Really quirky with lots of different things to see. Definitely not for the dull! After the tour we sat outside and had a few drinks before dinner. The grounds are stunning and it was a warm night so it was pretty busy . The atmosphere was really buzzy - it must be crazy (pun intended) when they have events on. We eventually dragged ourselves inside as it was cooling down and had dinner which was really nice. I spent the rest of the night dropping huge hints that I want to come back and spend the night… Hopefully he takes the hint and I’ll be back soon!

I was told, if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all. Sadly, Trip advisor requires more characters. The CB is, outdated, tired, confused, comical, overpriced. They have not a clue about Thai cuisine. Edamame beans (Japan) and seed **** (Chinese) as a starter, pork on three dishes (one was BBQ pork, Chr Siu) and a Pad Thai that was over sweet, over cooked, void of shrimps, egg, fish sauce, shallots etc etc. Stir fried aubergine enrobed in hoi sin, really. I'd be stunned if a Thai national cooked this meal and best it's a very poor European interpretation of "Asian" food. Oh, and lemon meringue pie to finish.
