Outstanding lodge that is very high end. Staff go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant stay. My son was ill and they went to deliver his dinner in person! Enjoyed a facial and a tub soak in the villa. The walking tour was outstanding. The safari drives were fancy and evening included wine and cocktails. Saw the big 5 and lots of close encounters with hyenas, elephants and rhinos. The food was so delicious and they accommodated multiple food preferences in our tour group.

This place is absolutely wonderful! The guides are so knowledgeable and helpful. The staff are some of the kindest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of interacting with. The food is fantastic. And the wildlife, spectacular!

Brilliant staff and facilities with excellent food and cocktails. Even booked a bush walk which we came close to elephant and a pair of rhinos. Spa and pool facilities where magical.

Un logement extraordinaire, un accueil parfait, des repas très bons, un service remarquable. Tout a été parfait. Les safaris drive ont été l'occasion de voir les animaux de très près, notre guide zouloue était tellement gentille et compétente. Idem pour le walking safari avec notre guide tellement compétent et chaleureux.

This is the second time we have visited Rhino Ridge and once again it was phenomenal! From the setting to the staff to the food everything was exceptional. I will be back in two years time and I can’t wait to visit again. Our guide was Tobeka and she went above and beyond to give us an incredible experience. We also loved the game walk we did with NuNu. All the staff are exceptionally well trained and very professional.

Rhino Ridge is a stunning lodge set high up so you have the most amazing views, we were lucky enough to see plenty of Rhino, giraffe, zebra, wild dogs, baboons, only 2 elephant though which was disappointing, but the bush was very thick so it made it difficult to find them. the staff and rangers are excellent, and the food is amazing too. we really enjoyed our stay there.

Es hat einfach alles gepasst und wir haben unvergessliche Tage hier verlebt. * tolle Lage umd Suite mit grandiosem Ausblick - auch aus der phänomenalen Dusche * sehr nette MitarbeiterInnen und zuvorkommender Service * phantastisches Essen - auch vegetarisch * tolle Gamedrives (morgens und abends) mit einem sehr netten und kompetenten Guide. Wir haben vielleicht keine Massen an Elefanten, Löwen und Rhinos gesehen, diese dafür aber in ihrer natürlichen Umgebung. * Toller Poolbereich und super Spa-Angebot. Die Neck/Shoulder/Back Massage war ein Traum. * Rundum-Sorglos-Paket zu einem fairen Preis

The setting of the lodge is wonderful. It is comfortable and stylish. The pool area was very relaxing. The food was very good! The room was clean, beds and pillows very comfortable. The safari drives were great. We saw every animal the first day out. So many animals. The guide was terrific. Suggestions to up the level: It would be nice to have a electric blanket options in the rooms as we were there in the damp season, also hot water bottles in the jeeps for morning drives would be a bonus.

We have been lucky enough to have undertaken safaris in four other countries in East Africa but this was a first in the RSA. This place is up there with the best. The location and thus the views, are a great added bonus. Game can be viewed from the terrace. The accommodation is comfortable and each cottage has its own secluded private viewing balcony. The game drives are varied and on each of the five during our stay we had amazing experiences. The main lodge building has a wonderful bar, viewing deck and restaurant and the food cannot be faulted. These are the physical “pluses” for RR but the main memory we have is the friendly and helpful staff who, without exception, do their best to make your stay as good as it can be. The organisation is faultless which leads to what for us, was a perfect safari experience.

Nothing that I write can ever describe the luxury, the expertise of the guides and the truly wonderful experience that our three night stay here gave us as a three generation family. Exceptional views from our windows and balconies each morning. Great game drives with knowledgeable and empathetic guides. An excellent individual bush walk, again with a knowledgeable guide. And to top it all first class catering and magnificently friendly service throughout. We saw lions, elephants, rhinoceros, water buffalo, zebra, warthogs, giraffes and zebra as well as countless types of deer/antelopes. In many cases we were so close that we could have reached out and touched them had it been the correct thing to do. On top of that we saw some amazing bird life and sat in the open just listening to the sound of the birds calling each other. A truly magnificent experience which we will never forget.

We were really spoiled at Rhino Ridge Lodge! The drive from the gate takes an hour with spotting of rhino's, elephants and more. After a steep climb, we were welcomed by the friendly staff and either a magnificent view over the valley. A sumptuous lunch followed by a safari drive with more animal encounters. The villa's are large and luxurious and staff professional and friendly. We would love to come back!

Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge leaves nothing to be desired. It is located in the Hluhluwe Wild Reserve in a stunningly beautiful area. The accommodation is luxurious, food and service excellent. The morning and afternoon safaris are conducted by experienced rangers who know their stuff and are good communicators. We saw 4 out of the big five and lots of other wild animals. If you are set on cats, Hluhluwe is perhaps not the ideal place, but I would recommend Hluhluwe and Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge anyway and without reservation!

Lodge ist schön gelegen aber man bekommt von der schönen Lage nicht viel mit, da leider zu viel Gebüsch und Bäume die Fernsicht verhindern (sowohl im Hotel als auch auf der Zimmerterrasse). Kein Fernseher und kein WLAN im Zimmer. Angebotene Gamedrive ist gut. Essen sehr enttäuschend. Wir hatten uns im Geiste von der gesamten Lodge mehr erwartet.

Hervorragende Unterkunft. Luxus pur bei den Safari Tours. Super freundliches Person, sehr hilfsbereit. Das Essen war hervorragend von Morgens bis Abends, mit leckeren Drinks dazu. Die Zimmer war top ausgestattet und hatten auch alle Klimaanlage. Sehr zu empfehlen.
