Spacious place w/ outside kitchen. Close to the Apple River and so much more.

A beautiful property in a lovely location. The accommodation was clean, spacious and well appointed. We have family in the area and would choose to stay again without question.

Great place , clean & roomy . Country setting but close to town . I recommend a stay if you are in the area

Beautiful Property When we were looking for a property to stay at we were looking for a 2 bedroom listing that was autonomous (not attached to any structure or a shared property.)I made the reservation & sent an email asking for pictures of the front of the home since I did not see any in the photos.Brad, the son of the owners, responded and sent a bunch of pics of the backyard, which made me think that this was the basement of a walk-out ranch-style home. So I asked and Brad responded and informed me that indeed this is the lower floor of a ranch style home. It has its own entrance and patio. I was disappointed but there was not much I could do seeing that we had passed the cancellation date. Once we arrived there was parking clearly marked. The backyard is beautiful and well kept. The lower level has its own entrance and was easy to access. The bedrooms were very nice and the kitchen and living area was great. It fit our needs very well. A couple of things to know is that communication with the people living upstairs was delayed at first. It happens so that wasn’t concerning. One thing that did happen, this was after our second night, the residents had a project they were working on and started using a jackhammer at 8:30-9am. It continued for hours. No one informed us that there would be this kind of work taking place at any point. I get it, it’s summer and a great time to get work done. However a bit of a heads up would have been nice. Other than that we had a lovely time.
