We were given a warm welcome and Ana on reception was very helpful. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was good both for breakfast and dinner and the service was very personal and efficient, Helen was amazing and Isaac very professional. We enjoyed our stay.

L'hôtel est très bien placé, le long de la côte. La chambre était propre et confortable. L'english breakfast était bon. Nous avons eu un petit problème, en arrivant dans la chambre, il y faisait très froid, et nous avons pu voir qu'une vitre était fêlée et que la fenêtre ne fermait pas correctement. Nous avons calfeutré pour la nuit. Le lendemain matin,nous sommes allés demander un radiateur d'appoint car le chauffage était coupé. Mais ce radiateur n'est jamais venu jusqu'à nous...dommage ! heureusement les tempêratures extérieures ont augmenté un peu.

The hotel is located a short walk from the town centre, close to the coastline. The rooms are fairly basic but contain all the essentials. Staff at the hotel were friendly and efficient. The cooked breakfast was not great - but the other breakfast options were fine.

The second course offered a choice of Shellfish Bisque, a rich and aromatic soup, or Raspberry Sorbet, a refreshing palate cleanser—both were sublime. For the main course, the Fillet of Beef Wellington was a standout, with its tender beef encased in golden pastry. The Herbed Lamb Cutlets were cooked to perfection, and the Pan-Fried Turbot was light, flaky, and accompanied by a delightful sauce. For those seeking a vegetarian option, the Vegetable Moussaka with Greek Salad was hearty and flavorful, proving that every guest’s preferences were thoughtfully considered. I have just experienced a super Christmas week at the Hotel Ambassadeur in Jersey Channel Islands. My Wife and I are fairly regular visitors to this delightful, comfortable hotel. The rooms are of a good size, well maintained and very clean. All the staff were wonderful from the minute we arrived at reception. The staff in the bar and dining room were extremely efficient and friendly as were the house-keeping team. The breakfast offered very good choices. Christmas Day and Boxing Day lunch menus were excellent and delicious. It was a delight to be there and we look forward to our next return.

We stayed for 2 nights. Very comfortable room with shower, and full sea view (ask for a room with sea view). Sound restaurant; my wife and I had sea bass which -- unlike many restaurants of higher rank - was not overcooked. Commendably willing service throughout, with one of the bar staff letting us have a decaff coffee after the end of his shift. We saw the good rapport beween guests and staff.
