Hotel la Place

Really only needs one word - EXCELLENT. The Hotel itself is absolutely lovely, the the room was spotless and the Staff were all so friendly and helpful - all the time. The Restaurant and Food were arguably the real stars. We had meals on five days and every one was a delight. Special mention for Farida who was so cheerful all the time and would make our day and also Patrick for looking after us in the Restaurant and not least Marcus with a special thanks for helping us with our late departure. We will have to get back next year.

Excellent hotel not far from airport, bedroom spacious and all amenities. Great shower room Sadly outdoor pool is switched off 1st October we didn’t know so bit disappointed Restaurant beautiful and the bar area is great option if you don’t want restaurant. Food service is up to 7pm. Only negative we had booked a disabled room , room was great but if you wanted to go outside you had to tackle steps direct from bedroom. They also as well as the hotel have cottages to let a great family idea. Imagine it would be perfect for a summer break Recommended

Excellent hotel - the staff were amazing from Start to finish. Food was first class - room Spotless, communal areas were beautiful. Couldn’t fault anything - would thoroughly recommend. The courtesy transport from the hotel is such an added bonus. We also had our flight cancelled so needed to stay an extra night (shame) ! The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating

Excellent hotel. All staff very friendly & helpful. Breakfast menu prolific. We ate in the restaurant & in the bar. All meals lovely. Definitely recommend this hotel for anyone going to Jersey. Only a few minutes drive from tbe airport & a short drive to St. Helier.

A return visit to Hotel La Place which just gets better and better. The hotel rooms are beautiful. As are the immaculate public spaces. With a large selection of cottages in the hotel grounds if that suits your needs better. The restaurant is always superb but, somehow, it was even more excellent this time around. With, in our case, the usual wonderful food for dinner and breakfast. But at the risk of repeating myself, what really makes a top class hotel sing is the staff. There are too many names to mention but La Place has plenty of them in all areas. From reception to bar, restaurant to housekeeping and drivers of the guest transport to management and back office. All with an impeccable attitude served with a smile and a genuine desire to ensure guests have simply the best time. As we left for the airport we tried to think of anything that could be faulted. Total silence followed. You may think this is way too positive a review. But the truth is that La Place is an amazing hotel with amazing staff. What more could you want?

Excellent in every respect. All staff extremely polite, professional, helpful and friendly. Food and drink excellent, rooms very well appointed, everything always very clean. Facilities very good and outdoor pool area great. Plenty of room to relax and unwind, both inside and outside. Probably useful to have access to a car as this is the easiest way to get round the island and also the hotel is about a mile from St Aubin and the roads in Jersey are narrow and often without pavements.

4th visit to this amazing place we now call our 2nd home. I use Tripadvisor a lot to research places to stay when we travel and I don’t think I have ever come across a property with such positive, lovely reviews. Almost 100% give top scores - and I couldn’t agree more. We always book a self catering cottage and for the last few years we have stayed in Ivy cottage but this year we were across in Beech. The layout of the cottage was identical so we still felt like it was our ‘usual’ one. All the staff we spoke to were extremely friendly and as usual, the lovely guys behind the bar remembered us and we had lots of laughs and fun. My daughters love the pool - always warm and clean. The reception smelled delicious and I have bought the diffuser they have to recreate the smell at home. Can’t wait till be back next year..

La Place is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Prime location with a bus stop directly outside the hotel, also a shuttle bus offering guests lifts to and from the airport and St Albans Bay. The rooms had everything we could wish for, bottled water, tea/coffee/biscuits topped up daily. My daughter was over the moon with The White company bathroom products! The cleaners did an amazing job each morning, fresh bath and pool towels were supplied daily too. The restaurant food was absolutely outstanding and as a vegetarian I was very well catered for. The staff were all do friendly and professional, nothing was too much trouble. I Would like to mention Silvio, Victor, Patrick & Emmanuel for looking after us so well. We will definitely be returning to Jersey and can’t wait to stay at La Place again.

What a lovely hotel - friendly and accommodating staff- modern and clean bedroom and spacious bathroom. Could have done with more drawer space for our stay though. The food was also excellent. We ate twice in the restaurant and also had a couple of bar meals. There was always plenty of space by the pool although we didn’t have many days which encouraged swimming or sunbathing. We were sorry to say goodbye.
