Seaton House

A special stay in the heart of St Andrews with an incredible beach front location. We stayed on a dinner B&B basis which included dinner at Ondine. On arrival valet parking took my car away and I was ushered to reception and handed a glass of champagne. Great start! The room was perfectly finished with a nice view over the garden and garden suites. And great little treats await you in your room! The staff were very attentive and friendly. The dinner at Ondine was so good we went back on the second night too! And breakfast was superb. It was the weekend of the Masters and the bar at night was such fun. Thank you to all for making it such a special weekend away.

Amazing new hotel! We stayed here as an alternative to the Old Course Hotel. The service was really above and beyond. The rooms were on the smaller side (we had a sea view room - not sure we needed 2 chairs?) but the bathrooms were wonderful. The front desk team (especially Alex and Hans) was OUTSTANDING. Everything from restaurant suggestions to the welcome champagne. They made us feel completely at home. The restaurant staff was attentive and helpful. And the location! You really can’t beat it! Beautiful views and a two minute walk to old course!! If you like a boutique hotel - this is wonderful.

We recently stayed at Seaton House in St Andrews and had the pleasure of staying in a suite with a garden terrace. The beautifully and elegantly designed room featured a luxurious super king bed, a spacious bathroom with a standalone bathtub, and a rain shower. There was a comfortable little lounge area with bi-fold glass doors opening onto a private terrace with a garden, where I enjoyed having my morning coffee. Bow Butts Bar and The Board Room, where we had breakfast, both overlook the sea, which made us feel very relaxed. The staff were all warm and very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. Michael, the Managing Director, greeted every guest with genuine friendliness and made the atmosphere feel both personal and high-end. I can’t recommend Seaton House highly enough. This is a place where thoughtful design, comfort, and exceptional service come together — we cannot wait to return.

This hotel was amazing. It is located very close to St. Andrews Golf course. The location is unbeatable. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly and offered a welcome drink. We were given a tour of the hotel before being taken to our room. The room I selected had an ocean view and the room was absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. We ate at the seafood hotel and it was delicious and the bar was welcoming and comfortable. The breakfast was included and delicious. We needed to make a local call to the car rental agency to make some changes and someone at the front desk called and took care of the issue for us personally. I would be hard pressed to find a better group of people and a better hotel anywhere. It was the highlight of our stay in Scotland.
