We stayed in Houseboat No. 3. The Houseboat was very good for our stay. We were helped by manager Mr. Tanveer & our helps Mr. Noor & Mr. Musakir. The stay was very good. The room was good with all the amenities. All 3 of them were very helpful & cordial. We had 1 night stay with dinner & breakfast. The dinner was good with home made food. The breakfast was also very good. Thanks for the help & a very good stay.

A tranquil getaway from the hubbub of city life. The houseboats are well maintained and beautifully and richly decorated. The caretaking staff including Mr. Ashraf and colleagues are very friendly and excellent. The food is delicious. The visit to the carpet warehouse is enlightening. An evening shikara ride is a must.

What a wonderful experience. Serene and away from the hustle bustle of the city the property offers you cosy relaxing time. the houseboat offers very well maintained rooms with a common dining and living room. the terrace is very well maintained. food served was very tasty and service is very punctual. I'll highly recommend this houseboat for couples and family

A few milesfrom the west shore, a Shikara and its humble operator will take you across to your houseboat where a nice hot “Kava”will be ready for you! Your room with Cedar wood lining will be made warm by the staff!Alcohol is prohibited in the boat as is elsewhere in Srinagar but as usual we did sneak in some Bourbon! Dinner was spectacular and specially prepared for us! Slept well into the night though the bedsheet was smelly and ought to be replaced everyday ! Breakfast had no options but just a crude Omelette!

Excellent stay , food and services . We had jain food which was excellent . Over all cleanliness was also excellent. Staff was very helpful. We had one night stay , would recommend atleast 2 night stay to enjoy it thoroughly. Highly recommended.

Excellent experience at gurakha houseboat no.2, very beautiful interior design and cleanness in houseboat, view from houseboat are amazing. Mr Riyaz and Mr Ashraf are very humble and helpful. I definitely visit again. Thank you guys for your hospitality and service

We had a very good staying experience with Welcome Heritage Gurkha house boat. The staff were very warm in their hospitality towards us. They took care of every small needs. We were accomodated in very comfortable rooms with good ambience. Special mention and appreciation to chachaji the senior most staff member in the boat but still was humble and attended to all our needs patiently and promptly. We were served with fresh and tasty breakfast everyday and we overall has a very comfortable and memorable stay. Would recommend this property for a comfortable stay.

At first when you come from the shikara you are welcomed by the team including Tanveer Bhai, Ashraf Bhai and Reyaz Bhai with amazing kahwa and biscuits. We were upgraded from our current rooms to Royal suite and lake royal suite respectively. The team made us feel very warm and homely it was as if we were staying in a homestay with very warm hosts. The food was very light simple and homely. The views from the nigeen lake are one of a kind with a lot of peace and serenity. The rooms are clean warm and cozy with no problems for the senior citizens as well.
