Welcome Hotel at Srinagar

The stay was very comfortable and and the staffs were very helpful. Imtiyaz was kind enough to upgrade our room and it gave great experience. Team front desk, bell boys, house keeping and restaurant team all were friendly, well mannered and helpful.

This hotel has the best location and view of Dal Lake. When we arrived on day one of our trip, we even got complimentary upgrade of room to Dal Lake view rooms. This made our stay even more memorable. The hotel also helped us arrange cab with driver for our sightseeing trip. The hotel premises are very beautiful. Location is excellent in Boulevard road. Food served at hotel was excellent (mutton rogan josh, kashmiri kahwa need special mention). Even with cold weather outside, our stay was warm and cozy inside.

I asked them to host a candle light dinner on valentines. The setup and dinner and hosting done by the F and B staff was fabulous. I am so amazed to take their hospitality. The food tasted delicious. Highly recommended to all the couples. Must visit. And all my thanks to welcome hotel to make our trip a memorable one. It was my wife's first trip to Kashmir and I wanted us to stay at a place overlooking the Dal Lake. Welcome Hotel turned out to be just perfect. Ghat no 7 was right across the hotel and every evening it was convenient to walk across to the lake and sit by its side, soaking in its beauty. The view of the lake from our room was nothing short of spectacular and although the lakefront rooms are higher priced I think it was money well spent. The room was really spacious and well done. The restaurant had a great array of options, the food was yummy and for a change I found a hotel where I didnt have complaints about housekeeping and service in general. Overall, 26 years after marriage our stay at Welcome will go down for us as one of the most memorable ever. Thank you guys and keep up the good work, Syed, Imtiaz and team.
