Didn't want to actually book it but by time I realized I got the wrong button it said I couldn't cancel it so not happy

I stayed here for 1 night was a very pleasant stay! Staff were very amazing and provided great customer service bed was comfy and room was well air conditioned as it was 95° outside. The only downfall of the hotel was that it did have a smell of cigarette smoke throughout the hotel. That was the only issue everything else was amazing. The staff at the front desk need a raise!!!

We had a Travelocity confirmed reservation at Quality Inn South Akron but at check-in they could not find it. We waited 1/2 hour while a couple arriving before us tried to check-in. The room had a toilet that after 3 flushes still had paper in it. We complained that we couldn't stay in the room and left to secure a room at the Holiday Express inn nearby. Quality Inn demanded payment for one night even though we were in the room less than 1 hour. Other couples were checking out because their rooms smelled of *********.

My husband has already written a bad review for this hotel but I want to add more. Since he got home, he’s shown me various bites he’s sustained and is still treating which are flea bites. He’s English and thought at first he was reacting to mosquito bite..he gets welts. Cleaning out his suitcase, I found dead ones in it. We have two indoor house cats, which don’t have fleas, and I’m home all day. I am having to clean all bedding, the floors, get medicine for our cats, which they aren’t on because they don’t need to, and clean every room he went into and beyond! He complained about the nasty, falling apart room he stayed in and has decided the next time he goes to Ohio for table tennis lessons, he won’t try to do it cheaply, he’ll get a decent hotel!

This is the misnomer hotel. Quality it ain’t. Not even close. 5.00pm arrival, front desk not manned, have to hit a button to summon someone who was talking on the phone about how bad things were and she didn’t know what was going on and more I have a guy in front of me wanting to check in and we have no rooms!!! No rooms ready, check in is 3pm and the parking lot is almost empty!! What are these people doing all day!! Rooms are awful, lights not working, outlets are so worn out my phone chargers just falls right out of the socket, I literally could not charge my dang phone, trim is falling off the furniture and the toilet seat is literally cracked in half. There are drops of heavens knows what on the walls, the walls are about as smooth as a NJ Highway. They do include breakfast, that consists of coffee, but no cream when I got there, and apparently no staff to check up on it and keep it filled (remember, they don’t man the front desk), and waffles. Rather than risk certain death by touching any of it, I went to IHOP. If you can’t afford anything better, stay here, but anyone that gives this place more than 1 star is brain dead.

Clean, comfortable, convenient value. I was traveling and wanted an affordable overnight stay. Had a good sleep here, and enjoyed a quick breakfast (eggs, sausage, coffee and toast) at 6 am before hitting the road again. Would stay again.

We were assigned and reassigned rooms several times after we discovered that the first two rooms were not cleaned by the housekeepers. Also, hotel staff erroneously called security on us while we were peacefully sleeping in the middle of the night. Here's the story. We booked a room with a king bed. Upon checking in at around 3pm, we went to our room and discovered that it had not been cleaned. This happened twice. Frustrated, we were then told to wait for the housekeeper to clean one of the rooms for us. Other guests also had to wait for their rooms to be cleaned. Also, our room was double booked. We found this out at 2:30AM while we were awakened by loud knocking. At our door was a staff member, security, and the other customer. They told us that we were not supposed to be in the room and asked for ID for verification. We explained what happened to us at check-in and they apologized for waking us up in the middle of the night. We were left appalled and frankly hurt by what happened. Save yourself the trouble and book another place in the area.

I have bug bites all over my body and when I asked for a refund they refused to give it to me. I talked to the lady at the desk not only was she rude but she didn’t seem to care and wasn’t surprised at all.
