No pleasure here. . .I was here for a funeral and our family was unsure which day of the week the day would be, so I booked two nights with my points (that's what points are for, right?) I followed the change rules as a Hilton Honors member and couldn't make the change to one night online. Then I called Hilton Reservations said they couldn't make the change, but to ask the Front Desk and they could help. I arrived late after a full day of travel and was greeted by a young night front desk person who said something like, "Oh that sucks." I can't help you. Being tired I went to my room. Non-descript room. . .I need a shower. The washcloths were ratty. There was no shampoo in the dispensers, the vanity drawers were full of filth. Afterward, I turned down the bed to find long dark hairs on the sheets. I decided to sleep on the flat sheet because I was exhausted. In the morning I explained I had to check out because I was in for a funeral. So I explained my plight to the front desk person who said something like I can't help you, "It's a Hilton policy". I explained the Hilton Reservation team explained the hotel front desk could help. I was obviously dressed for a funeral, but he did not hear any special requests and said "Have a great day." This place and Hilton are insensitive to customers. Worst experience I had for a hotel stay in a long time. Avoid this property. . .for that matter Hiltion if you want some level of sensitivity.
