The Davenport Lusso, Autograph Collection

Lauren made our stay, she was helpful from day one on the phone helping me with my reservation, I was celebrating my birthday and Lauren made sure it was special without me asking, she went above and beyond! Also thank you to Michaela for assisting us with an early check in and mentioning my birthday as well! The suite was amazing, wonderful amenities, beautiful shower/tub, robes, fireplace, would stay again, very clean.

Nice big room, comfortable king-size bed, very nice lobby, free sweet rolls, coffee & tea 7-11 am. Best thing, though, were the friendly desk staff (Stephanie and Claire). Room rates are very reasonable given the high quality.

Even though our room was nice, the TV didn't work, nor did the power outlets. We requested pillows that didn't arrive. That being said, a very professional young woman at the front desk, Lauren Clausen, did everything she could to help us feel better about our stay. Lauren should be recognized for her professionalism and positive attitude.

The hotel is beautiful exactly what I expected. The issue was the tv did not work. We were offered another room but decided not to switch as they could not promise that tv would work( a known issue in the whole hotel). The person that made this trip was Danielle at the front desk. She apologized multiple times for the television situation and went above and beyond to try and rectify the situation. It was because of her that we did not cancel our reservation after learning of the issue. She was great from the time she first greeted us at check in, taking our irritated call about tv. We have stayed at multiple Davenport properties and never had this issue so don’t hesitate to book. You will be in for a special treat if Danielle is working front desk when you check in.

Great history to this hotel! Loved how all rooms still had the original transom’s. You could feel the old west as you meandered through the hotel. I had a street view I believe on the 4th or 5th floor. Room was spacious, bed and pillows comfortable. The shower needed handrails due to the tub was over 21” tall and it was difficult to get in and out of the shower. Staff was professional and friendly. Only problem was no parking so you had to valet or park a block away in a garage. Definitely would stay again

Nice facility, close to all the other Davenport properties, so limited options here. Very comfy bed. Pillows meh. Nice lobby space, but no coffee, or really anything to keep me in lobby. Waste of space... If willing to walk to parking, and or other Davenport properties for food and drink, then I would stay here.

The Post Street Ale House is understaffed. Big time!!! The lady running the bar was also asked to be the only waitress on the floor. This did not work! Multiple customers were frustrated!!! Sunday night. September 3, 2023.

Drove there and could not find it as Google Maps has its address on the other street side so I raised that with the receptionist as a hint only in a very friendly tone. She did not notice so I mentioned it again. She then said that for that sort of feeback there is a feedback form. Factually correct but a bit strange given you are a customer making a remark that maybe they want to update their settings on those Maps. Checked in: the same clerk doing the check-in did not know when breakfast was .... we got an answer "should be" until ..... it then turned out that the "should be until ...." was a few hours off and that, upon walking to breakfast the next morning, we were told that no tables were available for 45 minutes. That was rather surprising as the place was not even half full. So we booked our table and went back to our room to wait. Upon getting there, the Elite member breakfast is - unless you want to pick something from their rather pricy menu - a coffe, a juice and one pastry. The pastry comes from Starbucks - so all good but again a bit strange. Room was good and clean. Valet Parking worked well. WLAN all up and running - which is not always easy in older buildings wit solid walls. Good location - anything one wants to visit is within walking distance. It was, as the title says, an interesting experience that we would not want to miss.

We had a wonderful time at the Lusso in Spokane,WA! It was our first visit at the Lusso. We’d stayed at the Historic Davenport before! We came to town for a concert! Our concert ended up being cancelled due to all the fires! When we told the front desk gal Danielle, she gave a free glass of champagne…. And a voucher for one the next day as well! It was a very nice surprise…. And a wonderful gesture! Thank you Danielle for making our experience such a nice one!
