Travelodge by Wyndham Spearfish

酒店價格便宜，入住後用吹風機是壞的。打電話換了個好的。房間裏隔着一個門是隔壁住宿。用了吹風機吹頭髮，一會就有酒店工作人員敲門告知隔壁投訴吹風機打擾他們。那你這個酒店還不能用吹風機了嗎？為什麼不用高端的靜音吹風機？或者給隔壁解釋。真是不講道理。最後頭髮半幹就算了，很不愉快的住宿體驗。

This little hotel really exceeded our expectations. The hottub was so great and the pool was very comfortable. They had the softest bed I've ever had in a hotel. I was really pleased with this hotel. The rooms didn't have coffee pots in the room instead having a nice coffee bar in the lobby with several choices and very tasty coffee, available 24/7. I actually really preferred this to having them in our room. This was easier and tastier.

We were very happy with our stay. It was a last minute stop because we were not happy with another motel who gave away the room we asked for. The appearance of the other hotel was not very appealing. I will definitely recommend Travelodge of Spearfish.

This hotel in spearfish was amazing. Highly suggest. They had a pool and hot tub both were amazing. The breakfast in the morning were plenty. And the rooms were very clean! I highly suggest staying there. Wasnt too expensive either. The staff were very friendly in the morning.

This was a mixed purpose travel and I made the reservation at the last minute. I have traveled for over 50 years, both as a tourist and most often for business, 45 states and 7 countries. Motels are often a disappointment, but only because of the unknown surprises, things any experienced traveler knows. My experience here was exemplary. Pleasing and knowledgeable staff. All my encounters were pleasant. Breakfast was adequate. And we felt zero pressure to leave, but I though we arrived near the 9 AM breakfast ending. The facilities were neat, clean and everything was EASY to locate. We used the pool & hot tub, and all appeared clean and orderly. Essentially, our visit was without incident, and that's very nearly an exception today. To be certain, our future plans in Spearfish will include lodging here again!

Very helpful staff. The place is mostly updated. Go see Spearfish Canyon: waterfalls. The canyon appears to be downhill both ways!

This was an ok stay. I won’t go back when we visit again but it was ok for the price. The pool was super strong the first day, I think it was treated and should have been closed that first day. I was told that I can request a cleaning the 3 night and I did the following day and was told I had to do it the day before which I wasn’t told. He also said that they only have 2 cleaners right now which isn’t my problem. I was only asking for the trash to be taken out and fresh towels. I didn’t need the room to be fully cleaned. I ended up doing it myself. He also said that they don’t really do that anymore and I think he was referring to hotels which is maybe just true for your hotel but I’ve stayed in plenty. At checkout, the lady was on the phone and was talking about the weather so I just left keys on the counter and walked out. It wasn’t a bad stay just won’t be going back or recommending.

nice and clean and the staff were accomodating and the room was neat and good wide and safe. The swimming pool is also nice and warm that time snowing but we felt warm in the pool because their Ac Heater was also nice

We booked a 2 night stay, checking in on Feb 13th and checking out Feb 15th. As we entered the lobby we noticed someone sitting at a table near the front desk. This lady appeared to be annoyed we walked in. She was using a laptop and on her cell phone in the middle of a conversation. After she paused her conversation she checked us in. When we walked into our room we were immediately met with a foul odor and apon a quick inspection we found food crums on the floor. It appeared that this room had not been cleaned. We walked back out to the lobby and again interrupted her personal call. In a rude and aggressive manner she offered to move us to another room. We decided to give it a try. The second room, although not as smelly, it was even worse in cleanliness. With quick inspection we wound crums on the floor, hair on the sheets, stab marks in the top blanket, and worst of all, with the door closed and locked you can visually see in and out of the room though the space between the door and the door frame. We asked for a refund and the front desk lady called her manager and they both agreed we could not get a refund. We contacted Wyndham and he suggested we check out and to make sure the front desk checks us out on the computer. She refused to do so saying she can't check us out until the charge goes through. We had her hand write that we checked out of our receipt. And left. We submitted our statement and photos to the Wyndham representative. We then booked a 2 night stay at the comfort in in deadwood. That hotel ended up being cheaper and we had great service there, they also had a fun arcade, bar, restaurant, and complimentary breakfast was good. *update I received a voice-mail "Yes Jaren this is Lori calling from the spearfish(?) Travel Lodge. I need you to return my call please. You can use this number 605-645-9004. Thank you." So I called her back. She had no interest in me explaining what happened. She seemed to be reading questions from a script. She would only let me answer with yes or no. She stated that I would receive the cost of 1 night back on my card. As of February 20th I have not received any refund.
