What an amazing hotel - couldn’t fault it. Beautiful setting, stunning room, delicious local food - breakfasts even included local haggis if you wanted! and Glen and his wife were so kind and helpful giving us ideas and advice for what to do locally. Don’t miss this gem!

We were so happy that we discovered this amazing B and B. It is so charming. This 200 year old home has so much character, but it has also being modernized with all the comforts. We stayed twice, the first time in the self catering wee cottage. The kitchen has all the amenities and the cottage was spacious. The second time we stayed in two of three bedrooms in the main house. These rooms are lovely and the guests can use the gorgeous second level lounge. The breakfast was amazing and plentiful. Paul, the owner is fantastic, so helpful with tips about the area and just an absolute lovely person. I would highly recommend Spean Lodge. It is an excellent base for the area.

We stayed here for a night on a road trip with friends to the highlands and back last year, and it was absolutely charming! Very spacious clean accommodation with all the amenities you’d need and loved the working fireplace! The owner was very lovely and happy to answer any questions or advice on what to visit locally. Would definitely stay again.

Spean Lodge is a wonderful, peaceful place, perfectly located to easily explore Fort William and the surrounding countryside. The interior is stunning and provides a warm, cosy, stylish place to rest after a day on the hills. I stayed in the Red room, which was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and provided lovely toiletries. All through the Lodge are thoughtful touches for guests, from the stunning green room lounge with open fire, a spirits bar for a wee dram, maps and photography books to browse and games to play in the evening. The breakfast was delicious and the dining area another peaceful haven to start the day. Paul is the perfect host, full of local knowledge and is always happy to help. I have fallen in love with the Scottish Highlands and I cannot recommend Spean Lodge highly enough.
