"Our family traveled to Vamvakou to visit our yia yia's home village. It was an emotional experience for us, and the hospitality at the Ruga guest house was exceptional. Angeliki and Takis helped us with our arrival instructions and bags. Nota, made a wonderful breakfast, and helped us with any questions we had about the village. If she did not know the answer, she called someone and fount it for us. The rooms were immaculate. We stayed in Marigo, which has a wonderful balcony, where we could gaze out on the village and listen to the birds sing. Tsevoula was a cave-like room, which was a really special place to sleep. Both rooms had a wet bar, with reasonable prices. There were no problems with the rooms. Thank you everyone for making our stay special! Donna Sheedy and family"

"Excellent hotel. Rooms are very nice, clean with all amenities. Location of hotel is excellent, right by the main square, two musuems and numerous convenient restaurants. The big drawback for this hotel is the lack of parking. Finding a spot was not too difficult althought finding a spot close to the hotel on Friday or Saturday night might be tough due to its proximity to dining and entertainment. That should not deter a stay. Very good breakfast and the dining area and food were also good, especially the vegetables which were fresh and well prepared."

"We went to the pool, they charge €15 per bed/chair, nothing included. If you want a towel it is another €5. Other hotels/resorts in the area include a drink and towels in the price. We were 5 adults and 2 kids, chairs, lunch, and a few soft drinks was over €170. The only reason we came is because the other resort pool was sold out. I don’t know how this place is still open or doing business, must be a front for something. There was barely anyone there and I didn’t see anyone staying in the hotel."
