Fabulous couple my Freind was really poorly in the morning they were so helpful in helping me get him down the stairs and helping him into the car I can not thank them enough
Stayed a few times here and the room was great with a terrace onto the garden so ideal for us with my 2 grandchildren and to have a coffee in the morning outside
Will always pick this hotel on vacation to Southport
Thank you again to the owners for all your help and support today
Plus very grateful for changing my room to the garden room as well 100% given for this hotel and the owners 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Tired and dated but cheap bed was ridiculous Piece of foam for a mattress hard pillows and no bed side plugs tap pressure rubbish despite all that the owner was very pleasant breakfast was 6.30 to 8.30!! Had to go to Lords cafe on lord st which was amazing

Tired and dated room no mattress only piece of foam! Tired bedding hard pillows not enough plug sockets not enough toilet rolls or any toiletries the only plus was it's cheap and local to town centre creaky floorboards poor tap pressure no bar or eve restaurant breakfast closed at 8.30am which is ridiculous payed almost the same for my 2 x dogs to stay as the room total never offered a better room for dogs which has open balcony but was vacant at the time the owners were lovely thats only plus

We only paid £47 for the night. Location perfect 5 minutes walk to lord street we got a parking space within the hotel grounds, lovely friendly greeting we were in room 3 , double bed , en-suite , tea making facilities, little fridge with snacks in ( prices on the front listed on the door) we slept well and had a nice shower the following morning. We would definitely return

I had a 2 night stay at this hotel in June 2024. After only paying £54 for 2nights I wasn’t expecting much if I’m honest. On arrival I was greeted by a friendly man who showed me my room, which to my surprise was large & spacious. It was clean a little old fashioned but for what I paid I was very happy with it. I would definitely book again. Car parking available too in with the room price which I thought was good.

A cheap hotel that's worth every penny. Very clean good rooms considering its cheap, Good beds, great breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel for value and service. We where pleasantly surprised considering what we paid, we will definitely be going back

This is the worst hotel I have ever seen it should be condemned, it’s dirty it smells. The furniture is broken. The bed was well I cannot even comment. Serious health and safety issues with the plugs. We checked in then checked out. Don't go!! At one point I thought it was a TV set up it's that bad.

It was my second time staying here, and I enjoyed it as much as my first. The hotel is charming with a lot of history, the staff is friendly and the breakfast is great for its price (£5 extra). Parking is a little small but staff are a great help for finding other parking

Just checked out. Pros - Cheap, nice garden that I forgot to visit, access by keypad - handy, reception staff lovely, owner - a gentleman, very positive and helpful. They do a cheap breakfast but I don't enjoy living by the clock so I missed out. Shower - not bad . TV - worked,but I only watch in the evening. Distance from the centre was perfect for me, around 15 mins to Chapel Street for the average stroller. There is a fridge in the room which I found useful. It does have some contents on arrival which you pay for if you wish. There is an iron and ironing board but I no longer have a female partner Cons - I have no complaints. If I had wanted greater opulence then I might have paid the price elsewhere.
