The room as clean and the beds were comfortable. We did have some issues, though. The glass shower door was off the track and hard to move. I did inform the front desk who said they would take care of it, but never did. Also, I called the day before to confirm there would be a crib in the room. The manager told me I didn’t need to call in advance, just to tell them at check in. We arrived at 9:00pm and the young woman at the desk told me maintenance had gone home and I would have to wait until morning. When I complained, she quickly called the manager at home who remembered my call and told her where to get the crib. Together we went to a storage closet and retrieved it and brought it to the room and she gave me clean sheets. She was lovely and it wasn’t her fault, but it was an inconvenience that shouldn’t have happened. Lastly, the pool was nice but the restrooms in the pool area were DISGUSTING. We informed the front desk who said they would attend to them. I never checked back. The breakfast was very nice and the attendant made sure everything was clean and well stocked. They also cleaned the lobby floor several times a day so the appearance was very nice. All in all, I would stay there again, but can’t give it 5 stars because of the issues we encountered.

Book somewhere else. This place is NASTY. Only things that were clean were the sheets and sort of the bathroom. Floors and furniture were disgusting. Breakfast was a joke, hard pancakes, stale cereal and bread. Go somewhere else!

We stayed here to attend a tigers baseball game and to visit the Detroit Zoo. It was a good experience. We stayed in a king suite and the room was huge and clean! It only took 10 minutes to get to the zoo and 15 to get to Comerica Park so the location was great. The hot tub was nice and hot and it looked pretty clean. Breakfast was good with a lot of great options and the bed was comfortable. Our tv was cracked which we reported in the morning and it was replaced the same afternoon. The down sides were that the pool closed pretty early, at 9 p.m and, as mentioned in other reviews, the hotel did smell like pot.
