Hotel Villa Igea arvostelua

Short bus ride from the heart of Sorrento, out of the hustle and bustle, with beautiful views over the Cape. Bus stop is right in front of the hotel, there is also shuttle service offered a few times of day for free. Clean room, the air conditioning worked so well we had to turn it off sometimes, (rarity in Italy) Staff was helpful and polite. Large breakfast spread each morning, quaint pool area to cool off in the afternoon. Family deli across the road makes lovely sandwiches, perfect to bring along on the trek down to the Roman ruins and baths, entrance to the trail was right across from the hotel.

They had the wrong room set up. We asked for two beds. There was only one. The first one we went into was filthy. The hotel was completely deserted and looked like I stepped back in time to 1984. They brought us to a second room that had two beds, but it was smaller than my bathroom at home. Also rust around the pipes caulking around the showers completely and complete toilet was dirty as if someone had just used it. The entire place smelled like sour meat. We actually left without staying there and checked into another hotel in the area. I’m currently trying to get my money back.

Good value for the area The first thing to say is the food in the restaurant was excellent! You have to try the local spaghetti Nerano. A good breakfast selection. Staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent shuttle service down into sorrento, although if you don’t have mobility issues you could walk, if you don’t mind walking into traffic with no pavement on some parts! There’s also a bus stop right outside and a little shop opposite with non tourist priced water etc. The hotel is a little tired in places but the gardens are lovely and plenty of sun beds round the pool. We had a room over looking the back garden so it was quite quiet. Stunning views. For the price, we were very happy for the 4 nights we stayed

Excelente Foi uma estadia muito boa, a 500 metros do Banho Regina Giovani uma atração imperdível, mais que tem que ter fôlego para voltar, pois a estradinha é bem ingreme, a menos que vc vá de scooter. Fica a 2 km do centro, mais há ônibus (com horários específicos e grátis) que deixam-nos no centro, pois para ir a pé é meio perigoso pois a estrada é muito estreita e a passagem para pedestre é mais estreita ainda. Eles tem várias opções de passeios na Costa Amalfitana, que nos pegam e deixam no hotel. Café bom mais repetitivo de resto, pelo custo benefício foi bom.
