Sapphire Rooms

The property itself was nice and clean, the town was quiet and felt safe, there were good dining options. The biggest con was that the ability to get a taxi into the town of sorrento was lacking and when you could get a taxi it was 25-60€ per way. The taxis were not able to get down the narrow steep road into the town. The other option was to take a bus into town or walk along the side of the road which was very unsafe as there was no shoulder and the cars would be passing you about a foot away at times and took about 45 minutes per way. We felt kind of trapped in the town with not a lot to do unless you walked into Sorrento.

The location is perfect, just steps from the water with lots of great dining options. Although difficult to get to it is worth the trek. The rooms are comfortable but very minimalistic. TV didn’t work and some of the fixtures are falling apart, but a very enjoyable stay.

The location on the beach was perfect for what we were looking for for a few days of our 10-day trip to Italy. It is very remote. Please note that most vehicles cannot even make it down to the village. You have to park up in an olive Grove and get taken down by a buggy, which no one explained to us before we got there so there was lots of confusion. If you want to be on the beach, the location is ideal. But, we did have some issues with the room. The overhead shower fixture did not work at all the entire time we were there so we had to use the wand. The air conditioning didn't work two of the 3 days and nobody could fix it. There was also a very loud party at the restaurant next door to us, which we generally wouldn't mind if we would have known ahead of time. But nobody explained that to us while we were there so that went on until about 1: 00am. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. Other than those issues, we enjoyed our stay.

Great location in a little fishing village right on the sea! Several dining options just outside our door. Excursions to Amalfi and Positano as well as Capri. The only negative was that we were not provided with fresh towels

Absolutely shocking!!!!!! Booked this accommodation for our honeymoon using an agent. The online pictures look NOTHING like the reality of the room. We were promised a beach front hotel room. We got a room overlooking a restaurant tin roof. There is no reception and to get to the accommodation you have to walk down a very steep hill for 15 minutes!!!! Try doing that with your luggage. The bed cover and sheets had stains, the towels and pillows are a million years old, and the bathroom was covered in mould. The rain shower did not work and was riddled with rust. This is far from luxury and is more like a hostel. We checked out the next day and have requested a refund. The owner has gone MIA and ignored all messages from us and our agent. DO NOT trust this accommodation; images are misleading. This it is pure trickery!!!

Abbiamo trascorso 3 giorno in questo B&B , scelto on line basandoci su foto e sulle esperienze degli altri viaggiatori. il luogo , Marina di Puolo , è adatto per chi cerca tranquillità e la spiaggia fuori la porta. La camera , Ocean, ristrutturata da poco non è all'altezza del prezzo 150 € a notte ed è stata arredata con molta superficialità. Nel bagno non ci sono appendini e portaasciugamani, bisogna usare l'angolo alto della finestra o la cabina doccia , gli appendini si trovano al costo di pochi euro anche adesivi. La bella vasca centro stanza sotto la finestra vista mare è inutilizzabile perchè non ha il tappo. Il secondo giorno si è staccata la tenda oscurante che in realtà, è di piccole dimensioni, e non serve allo scopo. Nel complesso il posto, la trasparenza del mare, la simpatia dei ristoratori e il servizio navetta è da 5 stelle.
