El Rio Hotel

Our recent 5-night stay at Hotel El Río was truly magical. We were looking for a true jungle experience en ohhhh did we find it! We booked the ‘Guadua’ bamboo palapa for an immersive experience. Waking up to the tranquil sounds of the jungle, with monkeys playfully leaping in the trees near our palapa and the soothing river nearby, provided a magical start to each day. The staff’s exceptional kindness made us feel truly welcome and well-cared-for; no request was too much. They care about the environment and try to make your stay as sustainable as possible. We enjoyed various activities, including a cave exploration with Luis, horseback riding with Samuel, a jungle hike with Willington and bird watching with Sebastian. Each adventure was both thrilling and breathtaking. We highly recommend doing multiple activities. For relaxing afterwards we booked some excellent massages with Luz, Paola and Catharina. We really enjoyed the food the kitchen crew prepared, especially the local cuisine dishes. We arrived as strangers and departed feeling like family. We highly recommend Hotel El Río to anyone seeking an unforgettable nature experience. See you soon, cause we are definitely coming back!

Espectacular!!! Una gran experiencia y atencion. El staff se preocupa para hacerlo sentir como en casa, es de resaltar la calidad de las habitaciones, la comida y las instalaciones en general. Recomendado ir dos noches, tiene muchas actividades por realizar.

El lugar es increíble rodeado de naturaleza y aguas cristalinas. La comida nos sorprendieron por su frescura y preparación. El servicio espectacular, están pendientes de que sea una experiencia increíble. Volveríamos a ir mil veces. El Perfecto balance este descanso y aventura
