"The stay was extremely poor. I stayed two days and was woken up every morning by noise. The room's soundproofing was terrible. The hotel also hosts many elderly tour groups, and these people wake up around 6 or 7 am every morning, yelling and shouting with their children in the hallway. I was woken up two or three times the first morning. The second morning was even worse; I was woken up at 7 am by several people sitting in their rooms with their doors open, chatting loudly and shouting in the hallway. I reminded them, but they came back around 8 am and continued yelling, even complaining about the time. This hotel hosts these cheap elderly tour groups every day. It's far from a five-star hotel; it's worse than a budget hotel. The experience was awful. The second, even more outrageous issue is the lack of marked parking spaces. There were only six spaces for eight cars, and one car was parked there without charging, preventing several people from charging. The security guards didn't care and even seemed to be adding fuel to the fire. The owners couldn't be contacted; there was no registration, and everything was chaotic. If you're looking for a bad experience on your vacation, I recommend this hotel."

I do have to note that there is a KTV lounge a few floors below that runs until 2am - for sensitive sleepers, the bass vibrations are definitely disruptive as you can feel it through the walls and pillows."

"The hotel is in central location, walking distance to the old part of town and surrounded by food options. All rooms face a busy intersection with traffic and commerce noise starting early in the morning until 10pm. Windows will block part of noise but not all. Gym is just a pair of treadmills, don't expect a workout space. Staff is very attentive and willing to help. Beds, pillows and sheets are comfortable and the shower is good. However, if you are not a smoker, I don't recommend staying here, nor in any other Ji hotel. I travel extensively and tried Ji hotels in several Chinese cities from North to South. They are consistent with service, cleanliness and bed comfort, but all of them have a major issue of not enforcing the non smoking rule, and besides that, their air conditioner system brings smokey air from different rooms directly into yours. It is a pity. Unfortunately, beautiful China is full of selfish smokers. We need better enforcement and at least air purifiers in each room."
