Fantastic little place! Great staff, modern comfortable rooms. There are not many rooms, so best to book in advance, but if you're in the area, I highly highly recommend staying. There is free breakfast, but it's not like a buffet: you instead fill out a card the night before and when you go down in the morning, the restaurant will bring it out to you. In general it's really more like a few very nice room above a restaurant, but it's all very quality.

I was there on February 2022. When I arrived, I was a little worried as I couldn't find the reception but I was directed to a team member of the restaurant who helped me. Excellent small boutique hotel, 10 minutes from the center of Sondrio and close to the main road. The hotel is above a lively bar/ restaurant which serves great food and drinks all day at a very reasonable price. Large free parking next door. Only four rooms, designed in a contemporary style, with hidden TV behind a one way mirror. The room was fantastic and of higher quality than expected and I would definitely stay again if I were in the area. The bed was very comfy. The breakfast is standard and you should order it from the previous night by filling out a form. With the limited rooms available, you probably should book this place well in advance.

Locanda Black&White is close to the road coming from Milano, and it's about 1 Km. from the city center. I got a very good room with comfortable bed, good bathroom, perfect insulation from outside noise and good air conditioning. The room was perfectly cleaned each day. Breakfast was good, and staff were attentive and friendly.
