Bikini Island & Mountain Port de Soller "Adults only"

Wir sind bereits zum dritten Mal dort und genießen die Aufenthalte immer sehr. Für uns das tollste Hotel mit allem was wir uns für einen schönen Urlaub wünschen.

Pool situation is absolutely dire at this hotel. The lack of sunbeds sees people rising pre 7 am to secure a bed. Beds are limited and too many of them do not have any access to shade at all. If you leave the bed at all in the morning your towels are removed within minutes. I agree that reserving sunbeds is unfair practice, but we felt literally fearful to leave the bed at any time. We ate breakfast separately to ensure we retained the bed and took turns going to the room / toilet if needed. This was as common with others too. Staff say they give 15 minutes grace in morning and 30 min in afternoon. This is not true I saw the lifeguard start his shift at 8.35 and begin lifting towels at 8.35 (with great pleasure by the looks) Even dining in the pool restaurant for lunch wasn’t enjoyable as we were worried we would be longer than 30 min and we would lose the bed. One particular lifeguard was constantly patrolling the beds lifting towels. We felt like we didn’t get to explore the area as much as we would like as we knew if we left there was no hope of getting a bed by the pool upon our return. The restaurant Neni on site is fabulous. We ate here a couple of times whilst staying. The food was beautiful. I would recommend booking in advance as it was very busy. Staff in the hotel in general are very flat. There is no warm welcome or enthusiasm. You are lucky if you get a hello. The cleaning staff were the friendliest. Staff at reception were very cold. You’d expect a warm welcome on arrival and a smile at least when you pass - but nothing, head down. I had them hang up the phone on me on one occasion when I called down with a maintenance issue in my room. I also witnessed from afar cleaning staff leave our unoccupied bedroom door wide open whilst they went to another area of the landing - out of sight of the room for a prolonged period. Our room with passports, valuables and money was left wide open for anyone to walk in. This made us very uncomfortable and untrusting. The location is perfect and the hotels overall aesthetic is quirky and immaculately clean. Despite this and our initial awe of the place we would not return and probably wouldn’t recommend as it stands. Having to set the alarm for 7 am every morning of your holiday is not ideal just to secure your bed nor is feeling that one person has to stay present at the bed at all times. We don’t agree with those who reserve beds and leave for hours on end it’s not fair on others, but the hotel needs to come up with a better way of policing it. I’ve never stayed in a hotel with such ridiculous, strict regime. The hotel needs to provide more Sun loungers with adequate shade to avoid guests having to scramble al the crack of dawn to secure one. They need to also extend the time of which one is allowed to leave the bed unattended - not an all day pass but bit longer than half an hour!

My wife and I enjoyed a delightful short stay at this utterly charming hotel. There is no sense of the corporate, chain hotel, but high standards are met in all the key areas that make a stay so restful and enjoyable. The staff were all helpful and pleasant, and there were enough to ensure quick service in the bars, restaurants, and reception. Breakfast was a feast- the restaurant is very good. My initial impression was that the bedroom seemed small, but the large balcony gave all the space needed and became a favourite rest place.

L’hotel è una gemma nascosta nel porto di soller. Particolare, colorato e con tutti i servizi che ci si aspetta da un hotel del genere. In particolare la pulizia e l’ accoglienza mi hanno molto stupita.

We really wanted to like Bikin Island in Sóller — the location is stunning, the breakfast was generous, and the view from the pool is undeniably beautiful. However, our experience was unfortunately marred by a number of issues that made the stay feel frustrating and far from the standard this hotel claims to offer. Our original room offered zero privacy, with a window and balcony directly overlooking the car park and main entrance. To their credit, the staff did move us — but to a smaller room. While it was more private, it didn’t make up for the serious lack of comfort. The beds were rock hard and oddly shaped, with a raised mound in the middle. The pillows were terrible and unsupportive. We had to ask for extra pillows and a mattress topper just to get a half-decent night’s sleep. The service throughout the hotel felt flat and uninterested. Staff didn’t make us feel welcome and offered no help with local recommendations or dining tips. When we asked about a paella restaurant we’d researched, the receptionist claimed not to know it and redirected us elsewhere to a disappointing alternative with poor-quality food. The pool area, while stylish, was let down by slow service and an overpriced lunch menu featuring mainly Israeli-style dishes — curious, considering we’re in Spain. The pool bar prices were over the top and the food options were limited. One final (and important) note: the hotel provides guests with a refillable water bottle and filtered water stations, but the water tastes off — salty and stale. We ended up buying our own water from a nearby shop, which says a lot. In summary, this hotel looks great on social media, but the reality doesn’t live up to the hype. For the price, guests deserve better comfort, hospitality, and value. Sadly, we wouldn’t stay again or recommend it.

Really enjoyed this hotel. It’s fun and vibrant with very cool interiors - absolutely loved the decor. Most of the staff were great - one or two, not so much which is a shame. The food was excellent and the pool was wonderful - there were always beds free. The rooms are definitely on the small side but there’s loads of storage and the balconies are great - like another room. It’s a short walk to the marina in Port Soller, with lots of lovely restaurants and an ok beach. Parking is a bit tricky and I’d book the restaurant in advance as we only got in one night of our stay as they had a cancellation. All in all, I would definitely recommend here and would like to go again.
