All Style, No Substance – A Total Rip-Off This place thrives on appearances but fails miserably where it actually matters — service. The moment you enter, you’re hit with cold attitudes and a clear message: you’re just another wallet to empty. The front desk staff behaves as if they’re doing you a favor by acknowledging your presence. No warmth, no professionalism, just arrogance and irritation. Any request or question is met with blank stares or careless replies, like they couldn’t care less. And once you’re in, good luck escaping the nonstop add-on charges. Every little thing is priced sky-high, with no clarity or fairness. It’s like they’re waiting for you to check in just so they can start milking your money. Terrible vibe, terrible treatment, and zero value for what you pay. I regret booking this place and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a decent, respectful stay.

Mr. Ayush at the reception was the most unprofessional hotel staff I’ve ever dealt with. His attitude was shockingly bad — rude, arrogant, and completely indifferent to guest comfort. From the moment we walked in, he behaved like he was doing us a favor just by talking to us. He had zero hospitality sense — no welcome, no smile, no willingness to help. When we asked basic questions, he responded with irritation and sarcasm. It was as if guests were a problem, not a priority. His body language and tone were cold and condescending. There was no apology, no explanation, and no courtesy — just pure disrespect. If the management thinks this is acceptable behavior, they clearly don’t care about guest experience. A property may look premium, but with staff like this at the front desk, it becomes a complete disaster. I would strongly advise others to stay away from this place. No respect. No service. Just attitude.

The food service was good and taste of the Dal and rice was very good. But, the restaurant staff Kartik was not accomodating at all. He caused very inconvenience for us. We had kids ***** and we had to walk a lot. On the contrary, Praveen was very polite and humble and made it to appropriate experience.

Everything was excellent starting from reception desk servive in room allotment. Food was excellent Serving staff especially Vikram was cordial and helpful. The best was Chef SHIV RATAN who was very innovative and culinary expert and preparing all the food with great enthusiasm.All this made our trip memorable

Amazing hospitality by chef shivrattan ,we would love to come back again and again . happy to be part of club Mahindra #kandaghat#feel so good. Special request by child by fulfilled by chef .my child wanted hazelnut pastry which wasn't available...chef shivrattan made special effort and it was utter delight to see child demand..

The food is extremely delicious and I love the flavour of all food and chef Shivratan sir is very humble and have extremely well serviced us and served us a special dish out of the menu which is famous in locals of Himachal which was very delicious and mouthwatering. Every thing was good especially Pani puri, khichri, Lauki ka halwa and all sweets.

Not that satisfied with the property....but i truly appreciatr the services of chef shivratan....the guy has been really courteous and helpful....but they charge you for every small thing.....but happy hub staff is fun..............

I'm extremely disappointed with my stay. The air conditioning didn't work, and staff ignored our complaints. The checkout process was chaotic with incorrect bills, taking over 2 hours to resolve. Despite the property's beauty, the management and staff need significant improvement.

**Review of Club Mahindra Kandaghat Resort** My stay at Club Mahindra Kandaghat Resort in Shimla was an absolute delight, offering a perfect blend of relaxation, adventure, and warm hospitality. Nestled amidst the serene Shivalik hills, this resort is a haven for families and nature lovers, with its sprawling property surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking mountain views. **Rooms**: Earlier we stayed in Studio room and later shifted into a 1BR room. The rooms, whether Studio or 1 Bedroom, are spacious, elegantly decorated, and equipped with modern amenities. The plush beds, tasteful decor in soothing shades, and private balconies with stunning valley views made our stay incredibly comfortable. Watching the sunset from our room was a highlight, creating a serene and rejuvenating atmosphere. **Restaurants & Dining**: The dining experience at the resort is exceptional. *Fundining*, a multi-cuisine gem, offers an extensive buffet with Indian, Oriental, Italian, and Continental dishes. Must-try dishes like Rosemary Chicken Tikka and Fish curry were bursting with flavor, and the vegetarian Himanchali thali was equally delightful. The live music with open air dining on Saturday nights was exceptional and engaging . What truly elevated our dining experience was the outstanding hospitality of the restaurant staff, **SNEHA** and **KIRANDEEP**. Their warm, friendly demeanor and attentiveness made every meal special. They went above and beyond to ensure our preferences were met, always serving with a smile that made us feel right at home. **Bar Experience**: The bar at the resort was another highlight, thanks to the talented bartender **HEMPRAKASH**. His expertise in crafting drinks, paired with his engaging personality, made our evenings at the bar memorable. Hemprash’s warm hospitality and knack for recommending the perfect cocktail added a fun and personalized touch to our experience. **Fun Zone & Activities**: The *Fun Zone* is a fantastic addition, especially for families. It’s packed with enthusiastic staff who organize engaging activities like dance classes, crafting, and games for all ages. The billiards table and other entertainment options kept everyone entertained. The sunset point and herb garden walks were perfect for unwinding amidst nature. **Overall Experience**: The resort’s serene location, just 25 km from Shimla, makes it an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle. The staff’s hospitality, particularly Sneha, Kirandeep, and Hemprash, stood out as exceptional, making us feel like valued guests. While some reviews mention that food prices are high, the quality and variety justified the cost for us. The only minor downside was occasional slow service but this didn’t detract from our overall experience. Club Mahindra Kandaghat is a must-visit for a relaxing yet fun-filled getaway. The combination of luxurious rooms, delectable dining, vibrant activities, and heartfelt hospitality ensures memories that linger long after you leave.

Very pooor service i cant see this worst hotel in my life they are fool No snack Too much restriction In bar you only have to drink no food serve there Fuk off you fool instead of this you have to close this hotel dont spoil consumers trips as they spend too much to come for enjoy And you are involve in your restrictions I think this is hospital either collage hostel

had an absolutely terrible experience at the Club Mahindra Kandaghat property. From the moment we arrived, nothing went smoothly: Check-in took forever: Despite the official check-in time being 2 PM, we had to wait until 4 PM to get our room. The reception staff was overwhelmed and seemed completely disorganized. Unacceptable delays: We had planned our trip meticulously, but waiting an additional 2 hours to check in ruined our schedule. Construction noise: To make matters worse, the property was undergoing construction, and the constant noise was incredibly disturbing, making it impossible to relax. Dirty water jug: To add insult to injury, we discovered that the water jug in our room had fungus growing inside it. This is not only unhygienic but completely unacceptable for a resort of this supposed standard. I will be uploading a video as evidence of this issue. Anniversary ruined: I had specifically requested a room decoration for our anniversary several times in advance. Despite numerous reminders, they failed to do anything, completely ruining a special occasion for us. Rude manager: I had to speak with Mr. Ishan, the manager, about our concerns. Instead of offering solutions, he spoke in a rude tone, completely dismissing our issues. Customer service was non-existent. Poor housekeeping: The housekeeping staff was always “too busy” to respond to calls, even though it took multiple attempts to get basic services

Excellent resort with great views, the hospitality is also sterling. Especially Naresh, he was always readily available and very helpful. Must visit. Great staff. Helpful people and great crowd can visit shimla and different temples ‼️

Very good staff, Very good facilities. Had a great time with family in the Activity area. The resort by itself is excellent and the newly constructed rooms are Superb. Club Mahindra should consider creating lifts from this area to the Dining and Reception Area. Although free coaches are readily available for transportation yet lifts will be more convenient
